This is brilliant, I wake up turn this on and get a fast paced overview of the daily news. It rolls from story to story so I get all ready without having to click the next story. Great. And edgy like you are John! Only thing, want your kitchen commentary every day. Thanks!

The news app we have needed all along
This is exactly what I have wanted in a political news app. Great design, to the point and smart, makes accessing the top clips of the day simple. Secured a rare spot on my iPhone homescreen.
Greatest App for quick political updates
This app is phenomenal. I use it everyday for daily current event updates and recommend it to all of my friends. The videos are edited so well and they provide a unique take on quickly digesting politics and world news under 60 seconds. With so many news outlets out there, the recount makes it the easiest to consume media.

The Recount always has real life takes and analysis on the latest news cycles and biggest stories of the day. The Recount is simple to navigate and I’m able to get caught up on the days biggest news stories quickly but with reliable sources and it’s the truth, just calling balls and strikes, not biased. I love the video format and quick news. There are long and short stories and now some Circus interviews I like as I’m not a Showtime subscriber (yet). Keep up the good work.

Every time I open the app
A video starts, I would prefer that doesn’t happen. Sometimes I’m just opening the app from a push notification and I’m not in a place that I should be playing a video (like work), it would be great to open the app and have the video paused and a blurb about the topic and the choice to play the video. Other than that I think the content is great and I love the quick video’s I just need the choice to play them when I’m ready.

I like to keep up to date with everything that goes on in politics (and then share a bite sized version on my morning show) and this app is perfect for that.

I watch the recount each morning with coffee perfect for quickly catching up to the day’s news
Very Disappointing
If I don’t watch each video when it comes out, they are then played in reverse order in the app or online. I want to be able to watch the ones from 2 days ago, then yesterday’s then today’s, not today’s then yesterday’s then 2 days ago.

The Recount is the antidote for misinformation
I have been a John Heilemann fan for many years- I’ve enjoyed his analysis on Morning Joe & The Circus and was blown away by the revelations in Game Change. With The Recount videos he provides a much needed check on the titanic amount of misinformation flooding the web.

I’m a big fan of The Recount. The information is presented in bite-sized pieces, with resources for a deeper dive available if I want to learn more. I highly recommend giving it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
