Since I subscribed to Masslive and e edition last month I
Cannnot get the e edition only the Masslive but I pay for both.

New format
I hate the new format. The size of the articles are way too small for older eyes. It was much easier before you got new software. When the paper was brought up on screen you could hit the arrow on the top right corner and all pages were enlarged. Change is not always the best.

Format
Not particularly fond of the new format. Sometimes newer is not better, this is one of those.
Great Upgrade
The new version makes it much easier to read everything I have access to with my subscription. I love that I can now zoom in without the text getting blurry.
Not ready
I would read my newspaper in my e mail. Now that’s not possible. The app is more difficult to enlarge the print and change pages. I called and was told they didn’t have the e mail working yet. Why change what was working well to this format.
Digital paper
Am not pleased with the new app set up to read paper. It was great the way it was. Now I have to turn my IPAD vertical to read. Paper will not scroll vertical just scrolls horizontal. Am thinking about cancelling my service because of this dumb move.
Sunday Republican
I love being able to read the paper online. I wish you could pay to just have it online. I’d definitely do that instead of having the paper delivered.
Okay for what it is.
It is the voice of the Democratic Party. It is a one sided story about what they want to tell you. Many people in Massachusetts like it like this. I read it for the comics and the obituaries.
The Republican
Keep it going. Local news is good but there is definitely a lack of National and international news that could be added to round out the reading experience.

I find this site very easy to negotiate an enjoying it very much.

The Republican app works well. It is easy to use, reacts to commands quickly and offers several good options on how to view pages.
I enjoy reading the Republican on my PC or iPad, because I can enlarge what I’m reading
Also when I see an article I am particularly interested in, I can send it to myself along with my own comments and also send them to people I want to bring to their attention.

Great Resource
I enjoy being aware of events and issues going on not only in my own city but in the surrounding areas. The Republican gathers stories of local and national interest, provides updates on ongoing budget negotiations, political issues and health concerns, particularly as our whole country deals with the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition there are many ‘lighter’ stories including nature, cooking, culture, opinion pieces, and of course, the comics page. This final piece is invaluable in reminding me that there is still good in the world. The photos are compelling, entertaining, and/or illustrative. It’s definitely worth it to have all of these things gathered in one convenient place!
