I’ve had to delete and reload at least 6 times doing the six months since I first downloaded this app.
Like the online edition. Access anywhere. Eco friendly. Easy navigation. No issues.
What happened to the local Letters to the Editor?
A “Hokie” now living in Fla, I still follow the Hokies faithfully. Faithfully telling us how to easily see the Hokies on TV and where, would be a great help. I really enjoy seeing them on the “tube” here in Fla. Thx
The home delivery price went through the roof, forcing me to go to the digital version of the Roanoke Times. The E-Edition lags. It freezes. It’s unresponsive. It’s almost unusable. In 2022, it’s inexcusable to have such a poor digital experience.
In the last few days the app has been doing strange things. I click on the e-edition and I’m told I need to sign in. But there is no link for signing in plus I am already signed in. So I have to go back to the home screen and logout and then login again. Then I have to reset my viewing preferences. This whole process has to be repeated every day. Plus turning the pages has become very slow. Please fix this!

I have a subscription but when I try to read an article I am asked to subscribe. The restore purchase order says I don’t have a purchase and the sign in link is never active. I’ve waited several weeks to report hoping it was a temporary glitch. Since my print copy doubled in price in less than a year, and I have cancelled it, digital is my last attempt to “support local journalism.” My only option is to use another device-iPad, Mac-to read the paper.

Have been using this app for over a year with no problem, it recently started doing strange things. On upload, half of screen is filled with a banner ad, no way to turn it off or override it. Arrows on sides don’t work sequentially - will go from page 1 to page 3, then page 5, etc., same on reverse. Unpredictable - sometimes does odd number skips, sometimes even, sometimes a combo of even and odd. Have tried deleting app and reinstalling, didn’t work. Called digital services number at the paper, couldn’t suggest a fix. Access via browser is fine, this must be an app problem.

I subscribed to read the e-paper which was recently removed from the app making it worthless to me.
I hate this new format and wish it was back the old way. Too confusing and hard to find local stories.
I am enjoying this app.
Do not like.
The Roanoke times is a great paper! The digital version works well BUT subscribers of the paper version have to sing in after 15 articles which is very annoying.
Great app
It's nice to be able to access my local paper but it doesn't have all the stories in my newspaper
I get Roanoke Times on my iPad. Every day, I can depend on the Times to send me the headlines of interest. Also, if I want to see the entire newspaper, I am able to go on the Internet for ALL the news. Try it. You will love it! Betty E.
Great
Nice to be able to see local news well written so easily.
Nice
Good app. Has gotten easier to use. Does take up more storage than most of my other apps. All in all, I like it!👍
