A wonderful peaceful world, I love it. My only moan is in the initial release the music was so,so much better.
Beautiful game
I remember getting this game when it first came out on my iPod. I do believe it was free in the AppStore for a time. I am now buying it for the first time and to replay it after all these years. This game was what developed my fascination with lighthouses and rocky coastlines even to this day and much more. I want to thank the developers for making a game that has had such a lasting impact on me throughout all these years.

Loved the idea - some dark themes could be upsetting
I loved the scenery, the idea behind it and the fact that the developer was prepared to go a different route to other ‘games’. As others say, this is not a game, but rather the exploration of three intertwined narratives. If you do take it all the way, without spoilers, that is use the time cues fully, the story gets very dark, and involves abandonment and suicide. Trigger warning is such a naff term, but I do think people may find the themes upsetting, so something to consider.

Beautiful app
I’m not really interested in playing games… I like the curiosity of opening up one door and seeing where it leads and then opening up another and walking down the hallway and finding another opening and seeing where it takes me next. I like a labyrinthine story. This app provides beautiful music along with an interesting mystery story and how you can find different pathways to understanding where the story will ultimately lead you. The artwork is stunning, the flow of the visuals is very naturalistic, slightly nostalgic, eerie like you’re looking where you’re not supposed to.
The islands you land on to peruse are so magical and forlorn, like the music. It’s a beautiful app, but it’s not for gamers. It’s an app to enjoy the art, music and the mystery and where it might lead you.
Other than a Year’s Walk and Device 6, it’s unfortunate that they haven’t been able to create more apps with stunning visuals, thrilling plot pathways with gorgeous music.

Nice story but not worth the price.
This is a unique, creative, artistic storytelling app that accomplishes that role very well. However, from a gaming standpoint it is not worth the price. As a free or $.99 app it would be just fine. Too slow for me to get into it.

I love this game so much. Even tho it’s not really something I would call a game. You follow a story. But it awesome nonetheless!
Super déçu...
Malgré les beaux graphismes, j’ai fini le jeu littéralement en 15 minutes... Il n’y a aucune interaction, juste quelques textes à trouver... Franchement, 5€ pour 15 min c’est quand même un peu cher... Ai-je raté quelque chose ?

Je m ‘étais juré de ne plus JAMAIS acheter un jeu non traduit ou au minimum sous titré en français ! J’ai craqué pour celui- ci devant la beauté des images . Énorme regret car incompréhensible si vous ne possédez l’anglais COURANT !
Comment - à notre époque - est il possible de ne pas réaliser des jeux universels ? (Sauf bien sur cette prétention des anglais qui pensent être les maîtres du monde) . Bref de l’argent jeté par les fenêtres et une déception de ne pouvoir profiter pour une fois d un jeu qui semblait sortir de l’ordinaire.

The sailors dream
Very relaxing and there are so many secrets to discover... there are several ways to play this game. Hope you come out with a sequel !!
Challenging, fleeting... yet still somewhat lacking
I really do love so much about this experience. It really is magical, yet fleeting... the challenge is in the mind. The puzzle as it were is the story... learning what it is, and piecing it together. With patience and humility.
I adored the atmosphere, the sound design, the ambience... once again Simogo get it spot on.
There is, however, some hesitation in a five star review. The printing elements.... I adored. It added such a tangible wonder to the experience. But, I had to install some software which took multiple attempts to make my laptop an airprint bridge to my printer. Most people won't be able to do that and will lack that experience.
And when all is said and done... I felt underwhelmeed. An initial rush of excitement and wonder left quite quickly once you understand the story. It failed to surprise after this.
You do need patience and a sense of the puzzle being in your head rather than prescribed to you. The person who said they completed it in an hour is categorically, 100% not telling the truth. As you can't.
It saddens me to see someone say they tried it for just five minutes, that it’s “pointless” and then give it a bad review. What’s the point of listening to music or looking at art? So sad that because someone can’t get coins or trophies and constant confirmation of “success” that they can’t lose themselves in something wonderful for a moment. Instead as they aren’t gratified in moments they must punish the author for creating something and daring to try and entertain us. That is tragic.

A Beautiful Experience
First off - this is not a game. There are no enemies to defeat or even puzzles to solve. This is an experiment in storytelling using game-like mechanics. Basically, imagine a version of Bioshock where all you did was explore the environment and find audio records and text that fleshed out the world. If that sounds boring to you, this is not your game and that's fine. The story told here is simple and melancholic and quite beautiful. The game also makes great use of the fact that this is a game situated on your phone as some objectives can only be achieved at certain times or on certain days. Not for everyone, but I loved it. A wonderful example of the unique ways video games can be used to tell a story.

Difficult to follow story
What I could get of the story, was interesting and made me want to learn what exactly happened with the fire and the characters, however I never was able to learn that - even though I tried everything I could think of to finish the story, including the frustrating experience of having to wait for certain days of the week to get parts of it. On the positive side, I liked the art work and enjoyed the songs. I enjoyed the creativity that went into this game/story, but, in the end, came away feeling frustrated.

Game was eh but the MUSIC
I would listen and listen to the music from the 7 song cottage till I knew all the lyrics to all the song. I downloaded the music from the Apple Music. So worth it just for the music
Does not start
I have a iPad Pro large but this app does not start after a double click. It changes the screen to portrait and then dies. Refund please.

Can’t figure this out at all. No instructions and everything is way to slow
I hate playing games where there are no instructions- and other than being able to visit several static rooms - there seems little to manipulate here and the story is unfolding too slowly and in too many poorly worded ‘clues’ - it did not engage me at all.
Adding more- I found a web site with suggestions that include listening to the music in different days and hours- ugh! final straw. Music is totally inane- can not bear to listen to any more of it- deleting game.

Pretty boring
Whole thing looks pretty. That’s about it
I don’t get this game.
It’s visually stunning and relaxing but I don’t know what the point of the game is. I just wonder around touching things that make noise...? There’s no explanation, no direction...just aimlessly going in circles making noise. I guess I’d like it more if there was a point.
Interactive story
This isn’t like most games — it’s more of an interactive story that unfolds over time, literally. You have to open the app on each day of the week and at different times of the day to get each piece of the story. The graphics and soundtrack are lovely and aptly dreamlike, and the story is quite melancholy — this is a great “game” to open late at night before bed, or in quiet, meditative moments. All of the 1-star reviews were left by people looking for a different kind of experience and feeling disappointed when their expectations weren’t met, and they’re not really fair assessments of the app itself.
