Cards are gorgeous

I have this physical deck and was thrilled with the idea of being able to have it with me all the time. So why not 5 stars? I don’t appreciate paying for an app only to have them pop up an ad EVERY time I open it. Honestly, it feels like a violation of trust because usually paying for an app means not seeing advertising or at least having the ability to stop it, but there’s no way to opt out that I’ve found (and I’ve looked). Essentially the app is a virtual paperweight now because I don’t use it because it bothers me so much that they did that which keeps me from being in the right frame of mind to use it. So the cards and content? 5 stars! The publisher’s choice to both charge and advertise? 0 stars.

UPDATE: thank you to the developer for showing me how to hide the alerts in the settings app rather than the Secret Language of Light app itself - I never would have thought to look there since it feels like something that would be in the app’s settings but regardless I am THRILLED to be able to start actually using and enjoy this app! (I also updated my star rating accordingly)

Thanks for your feedback. You can turn off the notifications/ads within the apps if you prefer: To turn off in-app marketing alerts: - Close the app - Launch your device’s Settings app - select the app you are using - turn off "news & alerts"
