It’s great to have access to local news stories that I wouldn’t read anywhere else. It helps me be a good citizen in my commmunity.

App doesn’t work
Since the most recent update I haven’t been able to open a single article. Every article displays a message saying the article is currently unavailable
Don’t do it
This app is horrendous. Can’t sign in, load content or do anything with it at all. It’s also really expensive. No wonder our local newspaper is going down the toilet.
Sad
Sadly a very poor app to try and read a poorly written news outlet
Poorly Designed
This screen displays huge photos with tiny text below them. I'm interested in the text of the stories, not looking at pictures, and it's too much work to find it so I seldom use the app.
Old design was better
Stopped using this app with the new design layout.
Hate it
Not sure why they updated the site way they did. Hard to find news and read now.
Disappointing revamp
The new design makes it difficult to visually skim the headlines, due to too-small white font superimposed over busy images. I find myself avoiding the app, which I used to use quite often. While some functions of the new design are an upgrade, the new aesthetic negates any benefits.
Ads be gone!
I will pay to be ad free. Annoying.
Obnoxious Ads
I clicked on this app and got a loud video ad. This was so disturbing I deleted the app.
No High School Sports
This used to be a great app for high school sports. Now, the sports section does not display any high school sports. You can only find articles by using the Search feature.
Awesome Local New App
I love this app, great local content.
No longer working
App has been stuck on the same news page for days. Can't read articles or view pictures. What happened?
Update failure
Upon updating to V2.0, the Sentinel now fails to open. I removed and reinstalled to no avail. Is there a way to roll back to the previous version?
Ad crazy
I am getting sick of the app automatically taking me to browser and safari even when I'm not even touching screen, I am going to start getting the local news from another source with a better app that doesn't shove ads down my throat.
What happened?
What happened to this app? Used to work just fine. Now all of a sudden it opens safari every time I try to read a story.
Borderline inoperable
The app is very frustrating. Even if you don't click on the ads, it takes you to safari to view them anyway. It's almost not even worth using.
Fix this app
Great app except every time I try to read a story it switches to Safari and an advertisement. Truly annoying, I'm deleting until you fix it.
