Not as expected
Takes a while to get accepted into the social app which is a completely different app… and maybe just my experience but there are a lot of men on there from Nigeria. No hate or anything but I want to meet someone that live in the states. I feel most women were living in the U.S, and an influx of men were just living outside of the U.S. I deleted, it looked more appealing on TikTok.
My journey will still remain the same and I think God doesn’t want me searching right now. He will send me my person in the right time.

SLOW APPROVAL
Been waiting for approval for almost 3 months to be able to join the social group on the app etc
Disappointed
I haven’t received any social group invites. The only thing I have received is numerous spam emails!
Honest review
I downloaded the app about a week ago after a friend recommended that I try it out. I was excited to meet other people who are also on the purity walk with me. A week has gone by and I have not been accepted into the social group which is what I was most excited for. People who understand the journey I am on.
I believe that if you want to foster a community that is truly helpful for those who are struggling with their purity walk or simply need a community who understands, then the application process shouldn’t be long or a thing period. Why decide who deserves support and who doesn’t?
I believe the idea is absolutely incredible and soooo many people need this app but please do not turn them away with standards that do not come from God. We are all just trying to heal and walk this walk…God’s way.

The best app for abstinent Christian singles!!!
If you actively serve God and are single, this is where it’s at!!
I’ve been on plenty of Christian singles sites and I’m social groups. I’ve NEVER found the Biblical support and encouragement and FUN I have found on this app.
EVERYONE encourages and supports one another. Catching up on posts and comments and DMs is the highlight of many days. I even miss it on the days I don’t have time to check in on everyone.
If you’re living a life dedicated to Christ and you’re on an abstinence journey, this is the place to go and be to fortify you in your journey.

Great reminder notifications!
I found this app over the summer and the randomized notifications have been excellent daily reminders for staying true to my commitments to myself & God! Sometimes they come when I’m out and help me navigate from distracted thinking back to eternal thoughts! Overall a great Christian resource!
A Safe Place To Go Yo
Finally, a place where I feel comfortable knowing that there are others like me who share in the same sentiment as being abstinent. No more feeling lonely or guilty. This is the Most High’s purpose for my life. Beautiful!

It’s so encouraging to see so many people who are on this journey of abstinence with you. We all look for a tribe and the sexless tribe is literally a family. The subtle reminders are always on time and it is so encouraging. 10/10 recommend this app for those living a abstinent lifestyle.

Regular social media can feel like you’re drowning by the same ‘ole things. Finding Shakia on Instagram after entering into my abstinent journey was a blessing after being told I wouldn’t meet people on the same journey as me. The app is literally a place full of all nice, supportive, God-fearing, inspirational people. I love it ❤️.

I Found My Tribe
What’s better than abstinence? A community full of people that are on the same journey. I cannot begin to describe how encouraged I’ve felt to meet people from all walks of life exercising self-control in that way. I’ve been encouraged as a virgin myself to also meet people who are older than me and still with their V-card. I literally gave myself a time that I would just abandon all and then I found my tribe. Also, shoutout to Shakia for talking about taboo topics I’ve never had a space to discuss them in. I mean we hold each other accountable!

Blessing from above
A day or two after a broken engagement; I received a friend request on Instagram from “The Sexless tribe.” I was shocked, yet honored based on the accuracy. My engagement was called off because on my lack of participation in premarital sex, on top of other contributing factors. This crushed me immensely. However, fast forward to today, this organization has restored my confidence & identity in Christ like never before. Thank you, Sexless tribe for welcoming me into the family. The best is yet to come.
