Excellent, but
The ability to tune multiple instruments at once and pin point the frequencies of sound we would not normally be able to discern as pitches is incredible. What brings this app down, however, is that it does not retain settings after closing and does app does not reorient when the device is turned sideways or upside down.

設定の保存はできないの？
チューナーとしては普段使いにしたいところなのですが、起動のたびに440から442に変更しなければならないのが残念。
毎回あの小さなスライダーで442に変更するのは非常にストレス。
買い切りとはいえ有料なので、せめて前回閉じた時の設定を記憶してて欲しいのですが。。。

Pour ceux et celles qui s’intéressent aux aspects subtils d’un accordage.
Une application qui sort des sentiers battus avec une ouverture sur le monde des harmoniques. Dommage que sur iPhone il faille parfois éteindre et rallumer son téléphone pour débloquer l’app. Cela dit le problème ne vient pas forcément de l’app car cela m’arrive aussi avec d’autres outils.
Hâte de voir arriver la version 3.0 annoncée déjà en mars dernier !!!

Has difficulty detecting pitches
I like the concept and sisplay modes, but in practice it seems to not “hear” or detect very well especially with guitar or uke when there is a little background sound. In fairness, other iOS tuners seem to struggle with this as well.

Bonjour, oui nous travaillons, entre autres, à ce genre de chose (tempéraments divers, avec choix de la note de référence) pour la version 3.0 en cours de développement ! ;-)

iPadOS 15 compatible?
Crashes on load on my iPad Pro running iPadOS 15.
Update: Latest version works fine. Great for singing practice as also see harmonics. Let’s hope any iOS change driven updates are prompt in future.

基準ピッチのバグ？
設定画面で基準ピッチ(Tuning Ref)を変更しても表示の数字がずっと440Hzのまま。別のチューナーソフトから同じ基準ピッチの基準音を出して確認してみたところ内部的には設定した基準ピッチになっているようです。
複数の音程が混在した音を同時にピッチ分析できるので重宝します。
Auto detectの表示が周波数でなくcent表示できるモード、ソノグラム(スペクトログラム)表示モード、録音再生機能があると楽器練習により役立ちそうです。

Hi damedame12345, thank you for your report. We hope you will pleased to know that the visual reference pitch has been fixed in 2.3.5! Thank you also for your suggestions : autodetect in cents, record feature and spectrogram (the latter being already in the desktop version).
Application unique en son genre !
Les informations sur le spectre harmonique sont parfois cruciales pour comprendre certains problèmes d’accord qui sont parfois liés à l’importance et la stabilité de certaines harmoniques. Cette application m’a appris beaucoup de choses très utiles. C’est dommage que le clavier se superpose au menu des réglages (quand on veut changer le diapason par exemple) mais sinon l’interface est très claire. (Màj: Je me rends compte qu’il y a un bug avec le changement de diapason qui ne fonctionne pas toujours et des réglages qui ne sont pas stables, dès qu’on passe à une autre application. Dommage…)

Bonjour Cybermowgli, merci pour vos commentaires. Nous venons de publier 2.3.5 avec un nouveau mode de choix de diapason qui, nous l'espérons, conviendra : il s'agit d'un slider (légèrement logarithmique) qui va de 392hz à 450Hz. Des petites barres permettent de se caler visuellement sur les diapasons les plus pratiqués : 415, 430, 432, 440, 442, 444. Nous avons au passage aussi corrigé le bug d'affichage de la valeur courante du diapason! ;-)

Snail works again on iPad OS!
This is the only tuner I know of which can be used as an exploratory tool. The combination of a sensitive visual representation of pitch and a useful level of spectral analysis allows us to focus on timbre, which is notoriously difficult to evaluate objectively. That’s both because we are so close to the sound source, and because our experience of the sound may be dominated by radiators on the instrument which are less important to a listener who has a different spatial relationship to the sound. That’s true whether we’re playing a string, a wind, or a percussion instrument. (Paragraph) I do have a few suggestions for ongoing development of the tool. First, the tuner is biased toward the Western equal-tempered 12 tone scale. It would be great to be able to specify a model octave of a scale from other traditions, like South Asian or Middle Eastern, or from other historical Western tuning systems. The model octave could be specified with a simple table of frequencies with a few decimal points of resolution, and ideally I would be able to build a personal library of scale tunings. (Paragraph) The division of the semitones into eight buckets helps to reduce visual complexity, but a preference switch to increase that to ten would allow me to visualize the pitch deviations in units of ten cents. That might not be workable for the small screen of a phone, but there’s enough real estate on an iPad screen for that to be usable. (Paragraph) Similarly, a preference switch to activate the lines between the “correct” pitches for reference pitch production would help me work on microtonal pitch discrimination. An exceptional tuning app
This is a unique and excellent tuning app. I use it every time I need to tune any instrument. The display is particularly useful, as it allows you to view not only the fundamental frequency, but also the upper partials, allowing for particularly refined intonation. I'm absolutely thrilled that the app was recently updated so that it works once again with recent versions of iOS!

Partly functional
The application has had a previous issue with the tuner’s auto-detection mode, but it is now fixed. However, the application’s visual layout is broken on iPhone 12.
Aside from this, it is one of the most interesting sound visualization applications for musicians. It is great if you want to explore harmony in a more mathematical way — it very intuitively shows you how the frequency ratios between notes take shape. It also works great as a precise tuner.

Updated!!! Completely functional again…
Ok, I downloaded there recent update and everything is working again! Thank you. This is a great audio app for tuning guitar and also nice to let it listen to a song and show you the fundamental bass notes, or on a solo instrument, each note. Also kind useful for pitch training and developing your ‘ear’. Good work IRCAM.

The most awesome tuning and analysis app
Used it for years. Was bummed out when it stopped working on recent versions of iOS but they finally fixed it.
It’s a brilliantly clever way to view frequencies as you can see the harmonics of your instrument or voice as well.
It’s also available as a VST plugin and I use it with Gig Performer to tune my guitar during a show.
