I Love this Magazine

The columnists are fabulous and the magazine is always a welcome surprise in my mailbox.

Journalism is almost dead

Were it not for publications such as the Spectator, The Free Press, The Economist and think tanks Brooking, Cato and Heritage It would be almost impossible to have an informed opinion.

The Legacy Media (Print , Radio & TV) are little more than the Public Relations Department for the Democrat Party. Their arrogance is such that they feel that only they are knowledgeable. Thus they feel no shame in fabricating the truth even when it isn’t.

I highly recommend the Spectator to those who are tired of being “Gaslighted” and want to understand the issues from a conservative perspective.

Great publication, awful app

Great publication, terrible app. None of the latest articles show up. Today I’m seeing older articles than I was yesterday. Everything I see today is from weeks ago. Have to go through the mobile site to see anything new. On top of that, any time I leave the app to read a text etc. the app reloads the article from the beginning. The “contact us” page just loads a blank screen. Please fix this app!!!

Great publication, TERRIBLE app!!

I love The Spectator but this app is the PITS! It occasionally shows me a recent article, but mostly it just shows me things from months ago. The “World” page hasn’t updated in over a year!! There’s no “search” option so I can’t look for particular articles. I’ve emailed many times and I’ve been assured they’re re-designing it, and I’ve gone through many steps to try and reset it, but to no avail. I mostly have to use the website to read articles, and that requires logging in each time. It’s very frustrating. Come on, tech team - get it together!

Brilliant

Eloquent well written and informative with a clear understanding of the geopolitical forces at play.
A bastion of incisiveness in the discourse of an ever more polarized world

Tell the truth

These articles tell truth to power
Loved the NFL Kansas article so true

Useless App, can’t sign in

i’m a subscriber trying to use this app on iphone and cannot sign in, the option to sign in takes you nowhere and does absolutely nothing. i miss having an andriod, but somehow i doubt that would fix the issue, which is that this app does not work on its most basic and fundamental level. How hard is it to fix the most important feature in your app???!!!!!

can’t sign in

aol user, signing in to this app is not possible. i tried both using my browser to open my email, and then the email app to open the email. neither allows for sign-in into the app.

Terrible

App won’t accept my subscription. Keeps telling me to log in through a one time use email… which I do, to no effect. It’s a good publication but terrible IT.

Great writing but…

The app on my iphone doesn’t allow me to
login to my account. I get an email access link sent but it never logs me in.
Also, I like the articles but the reader comment section is heavily moderated. If you were to post a comment implying that Kissinger or Soros are British assets in response to an article or
other reader’s comment, and post links to sourcing, you would find that the comment wouldn’t last more than few minutes before being removed. Implying that either is CIA, and the comment gets a pass. Makes one wonder.

The worst login system I have ever dealt with

Kludgy and buggy

Not off to a good start when it takes ten attempts to sign in before the app finally works. Lots of room for improvement on the simple basics that the app needs to do correctly.

Perusing for the first time

After a cursory look around the latest edition of this magazine it looks to me like there might be someone(s) in the media still willing to think

Great publication, terrible app

I hate to give this two stars, but this app has some really frustrating bugs. First, it’s really hard to see recent stories. Why do the webpage and app versions differ so much? Where is all the content shown on the site? Second, if I turn off the screen the article I was reading reloads and goes back to the top and I lose where I was. No other reading app I use does this.

News Food

A magazine that restores hope in journalism where varying views with facts can exist.

I Am Ashamed and Abashed

Here I am, 72 years old, and I only just recently found this gem, “The Spectator”. I thought actual even handed news reporting was lost forever. Therefore I am ashamed that I did not seek out this honest journal long before. I have enjoyed all of your writers even those that do not agree with my thoughts and the writing is quite excellent and worthy of my subscription.
