I really want to like this game
…But as others have pointed out, not being able to listen to other stuff in the background while this is running completely puts me off.
I love this game
This game is super interactive, and I so enjoyed building houses and collecting as many monkeys as I possibly could. The only annoying thing is that you constantly have to save all of the progress that you do because sometimes it’ll just kick you out and then restart literally done, which is very frustrating… Besides that I love this game so much come back to play it many times there could be new islands and also if you ever make it to the end spoiler, I wish that it could be different because they kick you OUT OF THE BOAT!!!!!!😭🤯😱😱😱

Needs auto save
Needs auto save because when I’m running and enter a vault it crashes and I legit just lost like 3 hours of play
NO AUTO SAVE
Why is there no auto save feature ??? I literally keep losing progress because this game crashes and I didn’t manually save. Why do I have to manually save every 2 minutes because the game might crash. Why cant it auto save??
Doesn’t save my game
Despite saving my game quite often when I open the game back up, it has not saved and I start way back. Also, why are the monkeys so difficult to train??
EVERYTHING IS GONE
I had gotten pretty far in the game, I had all of the trinket slots open, teleporters to all of the islands, over 10 monkeys, and some of the best stuff in the game, so I wanted to go back into the game, do some quests and stuff, but when I got in, EVERYTHING IN MY INVENTORY WAS GONE. I can’t even tell you how expensive that stuff was, and the weirdest thing is, I didn’t sell it, I didn’t die, I didn’t put it in a chest, I was on a single player island, so it couldn’t have been another person, I didn’t throw it away, It was just… gone. Like It just… faded from the game’s memory. I couldn’t find even a single trace of my gear.

Great game. Some issues
Overall, I love this game. It’s a great way to waste time. And it’s cute too! A few issues though. (I have iPhone11 fully updated to current iOS and downloaded the game from Netflix)
First, monkeys just randomly stop working. In all areas. Whatever they are doing, they will just randomly glitch and quit working. Sometimes they just disappear. Most of the time they work fine but not all times. Gets annoying trying to get them to cooperate. They are useful when they work though! So, it’s a good feature and I love it!
Second, I know this game states that you can load up your crafting stations with stuff to create more than just one item at a time….it does not work with me. I can craft only one item at a time. I can slide the bar to x99 but it won’t allow me to add the appropriate amount of ingredients, only enough for one craft at a time. Now I could be misunderstanding what it means when it says you can craft more than one item at a time if you hold the button down, maybe that means something different but either way, I cannot make that function work. One item at a time is all I can do. If this option is not available, please add it! It would be nice to not have to stand at a crafting station for an hour because this game is filled with so much to do as it is and that’s what makes it fun! Just wish we could craft a weeee bit faster. And even if you set the monkeys to do it, which is awesome, they randomly stop working, like I stated in the first part.
Third, and maybe this one is on me and user error, but the bow and arrow does not work for me either. I have a bow, I have arrows. I wield bow but no button on the screen works to shoot it. I don’t know if it’s like that crafting game of mines ;) where having the arrows in your possession is all that’s needed to operate the bow, but I can’t get the bow and arrow weapon system to work at all. I’ve added all my arrows to my inventory and even in the same row as the bow but it doesn’t work. I hit the hand button, the finger tap button, I tried holding both buttons down, together and separate….does nothing. For now I use the sword and spear and they work great but it would be nice to be able to use the bow and arrow too!
I think that about wraps it up. This game is pretty awesome and it has a lot of detail with things to do. You will not be bored! It’s open world so you can venture off and craft on the go and explore with your backup pack of moneys that you can customize with different coat colors and hats and such. I personally love these kinds of games and have been searching for one that is worthy of taking up space on my phone and I really love this game! Even with the itty bitty issues I listed above, it’s still happily chewing up my boredom and my free time! Great game overall!!!

ALOT of Glitches!
Firstly, I do want to say I wish I could love this game. There’s so much to do, and the little “puzzles” keep you interested in playing. However… this is the MOST frustrating game I have ever played!! Here are the issues with it:
1]: There isn’t an auto save option, so you have to make sure you are routinely saving your game (by sleeping in your bed), even the “save game” option in the menu is safe to use. (See 2) I have logged so many hours playing this game to only have nothing to show for it.
2]: The glitches!!!
- as of now, I have to either delete the game and be done with it or I have to completely start over. Currently my boat is glitched out and I’m unable to get off of it and it’s just scrolling through the world bc I saved my game while I was using my boat.
- prior to this my monkey is stranded out at see unable to be retrieved even with the bananas.
- my game will just freeze up for no reason at all and close. (This is where the autosave would be nice)
3]: With all that being said, even though this game could be ALOT of fun. Unfortunately, it is complete trash until they fix these glitches that make the game impossible to play and completely frustrating to invest time in playing it due to your progress not being save-able at any given random moment.

This game is very fun when I first playing it and it is still fun now however I think it should receive an update or two 4 stars
It said my save was corrupted and I lost all of that island data
Please please fix this and add a auto backup feature to prevent this from happening to anyone else again I am begging you please!

More people to trade with, or more people to do tasks for
Having more animals that you can befriend and do certain tasks
And having more reminders to save the game, cause I’ll be playing and it crashes but now I’m back 20 minutes of playing and I rage quit

Game not working
I tried to open the game to play it and it just shows me a black screen and doesn’t even start up the game.

Buggy & glitchy
This game would be great if it weren’t for the constant saving and the bugs and glitches, monkeys stuck and not following and unable to get items needed to continue with the game! The game also shut down and I lost all my progress. Very annoying
Save glitch
I absolutely love this game but I literally cannot play it. It’s stuck on one save and any other save after that doesn’t stick. I have had to build my furnace 5 times now setting me back upwards of 8 hours. I don’t have most of my loot and I’m missing a monkey. I’ll keep it downloaded on hopes it’s fixed in the next update though

Amazing art, lots of content
Really love the art style and gameplay. It’s way easier to build a base with monkey and adds a fun twist to the game. I got stuck trying to find basalt rocks.. but otherwise the progression flows well.
Cloud Save
I love this game so far but I wanted to play it on my iPad instead of my phone thinking it was linked to Game Center, but it turns out my save is only on my iPhone!? I’m desperately trying to find a way to transfer all of the data, is there something I’m missing?
El juego frecuentemente freezes.
Este juego tiene el problema de que con frecuencia freezes y te obliga a empezar de nuevo a partir del último save. Cuando en una isla mueres te envían muy distante y tienes que volver al menos hacia la balsa sin hallar al menos un mínimo de recursos para llegar hasta donde está la balsa. No hay instrucciones de cómo meter una pareja de animales en el corral que hiciste en si para muchas cosas tienes que imaginar por falta de instrucciones, entiendo que quisieron hacer algo difícil, pero a veces exageran, es solo pasar el tiempo hasta encontrar un juego mejor.
