Not working
Zero stars. I just purchased the game and the opening scene loads but nothing works. I restarted my iPad and it still won’t work. Waste of money.

I have played the puzzle portion of this multiple times. I wish there was a way to restart it when finishing though so as not to have to delete and download it again. I hope they’re going to make a 5th one
Montezuma 4
I loved montezuma 3 but I feel like I’m going in circles on #4. How many times do you have to play the same thing to be able to spend points for enhancements to the totems or extras? Does this ever end?
iCloud level sync is missing
Its so annoying that every time you download the game you have to start over...please fix that
Treasure 4 me
The TOM games are easily my favorite match-threes. I was so glad to find 3 and 4 at the App Store, as I remembered them being a lot of fun on a PC a few years back. They play smoothly on my iPad Air, the graphics are beautiful, and even the music and sound effects are a nostalgic pleasure. I’ve had an absolute “blast” playing them- easily worth the few dollars I invested. 4 adds a nice touch of puzzle variations and a less restrictive time limit than 3, plus a couple of additional game modes for even more playability. Too bad there’s not a fifth installment, but I guess that’s a lost cause at this point? Anyway, if you like match-threes, these are easily at the top of their game. Give em a try.

Poor substitute
I loved Montezuma 3 but Alawar hasn’t updated it for over two years and it will no longer play. So I tried this one and it is horrible! Alawar, you need to stop taking money for games that you won’t update!
Turn off hint arrows?
I really like the game but don't want hint arrows and I cannot find an option to turn them off. I don't want help.

Great addition to the series!
Familiar gameplay but substantially enhanced and restructured. The graduated timer approach works well and the different challenges break up the game nicely.

I never write reviews, but I had to for this one. I've loved every installment of this game. This one by far is the best and has hours of addictive fun! I can't believe there aren't more reviews, buy this game!

Great game, lives up to the first 2 games. So far it does not resemble #3 and thats a good thing.
