What happened
This app has seemed to stop working - the ads cause issues when it is first opened, and the sound isn’t playing correctly.
Don’t bother with this. Rubbish
It’s got 1 star because they don’t allow zero. The pitch is not constant, and contains weird overtones.
Eh?
All I can get is a 440 tone (triangle wave), and an ad every time I open the app. (A different ad every time. One looked quite interesting, but I lost it when I tried to make a note of it on another app.)
There is the chance to tune the tone if you know the Hz of the tone you want and act in the first second, before the ad takes the screen.

Useful, annoying ads
The app is simple and useful. Only gripe is the occasional popup when out of wifi range asking to turn on cell coverage for the app - the only need for wifi or cell is to load ads.
The paid-for version doesn't work
So I have to come back to get the free version with ads and viruses.
Right in tune
Very simple way to get a reliable, adjustable A = 440, or whatever you want to set it to.
Love the variableness!
This app is simple in and out. You can choose an A note from sub-audible to so high it hurts your ears. Would be nice to have chart indicating average frequency for tenor, bass, alto, etc.! All in all a neat free app!
