About

All the news that's barely fit. The Unc Daily is a satirical newspaper for the terminally online: one fresh front page of very fake news a day, filed with the grave composure of a paper that has no idea what it's talking about. Part parody, part slang dictionary, entirely unserious. READ IT LIKE A PAPER • Opens straight onto today's edition, set like an old broadsheet: a blackletter nameplate, halftone photographs, drop caps and justified columns on aged newsprint. • Turn the page, with a real page curl, to read earlier editions. • Every story carries its correspondent's byline and portrait, and points you to the previous edition when you reach the end. KEEP UP • Browse the full Archive of past issues, grouped by month. • Download issues to read offline: on a plane, in a tunnel, wherever. • Share a story with the group chat in a tap. • Baffled by a word? On days without a new edition, clip out the coupon and suggest it for a future one. • Get a nudge when a new edition lands, and keep the latest headline on your Home Screen with a widget. READ IT YOUR WAY • Adjustable text size, full Dynamic Type support up to the largest accessibility sizes, and Light and Dark editions. No account. No ads. No tracking. Just a straight-faced paper covering a world that stopped making sense a while ago. The Unc Daily is a work of satire. Names, bylines and events are invented for comic effect and should not be mistaken for actual news.

Back to just the paper. The Unc Daily now opens straight onto today's front page, the way a newspaper should. No tabs, no detours. Everything else lives in the ⋯ menu. • A full reprint: aged-paper tones, warm ink, halftone photographs and old broadsheet type: drop caps, justified columns and a proper Vol./No. folio. • Each story now carries its correspondent's portrait at the byline. • Smoother page turns, with no more clipped tops mid-curl. • Looks right on every iPhone and at every text size, including the largest accessibility sizes. • A short guide on first open, for new readers. • No edition today? Clip out the coupon and tell the editors which word has you baffled. • The Decoder and games are taking a break while we focus on the paper.
