App is not available everyday
Quite often the app is not available and as we read it in Australia we are a day late in getting the UR. Several emails to Support have been ignored. Not good for a Christian organisation.
International Christianity
I enjoy the UR Daily Devotional as it creates a group of likeminded Christians from all over the world. We know only their pseudonyms but share similar views. On some of my comments I receive about 10 responses. These creates International Christianity.
Uplifting
Thank you for providing this uplifting morning devotional. It is a great way to start the day. There have been some technical issues such as pages not loading which resulted in me having to restart the app.

Upper Room
I love my daily devotions in the Upper Room. It is a vital part of my day. I am inspired, encouraged and motivated by the writers and the Upper Room chapel
Updated UR app rocks!
I am truly grateful for the blessing of your updated Upper Room app. Finally I can read devotions and comments from all our Upper Room family. It is a big help when I have only my phone to use to go online. Thank you for everything!
App works well
Some of the reviews led me to believe that this app was not functional, but I’ve been using it for a few months and it seems to work fine.
Arrival time
I love the convenience that it is on my phone .That it can be taken out anytime when I am waiting.
Subscription problem and no dark mode
this app used to work great. I have an active subscription on the Apple App Store ending in June. Yet the app asked for me to subscribe….? secondly there appears to be no way to put the iOS app in on dark mode in this release as in previous releases. I find it a hassle to use this app now.
Much better
This version is so much better! I really struggled with the earlier version. It was difficult to switch back and forth between certain screens. Love it now!
Daily Devotions
It is inspiring to read these stories of real people and how their faith has impacted their lives. They give me cause to pause and ponder my life and my faith.
Unreliable
I watch it on my phone,but it’s very unreliable.sometimes it’s only available at night and sometimes ,I can’t watch it at all
After App Update Cannot Access
I subscribed to this app and used it for months daily. Then an update came along, and I have not been able to sign in since. My subscription is wasted. There is nowhere to take support and none of the methods to sign in with credentials work for me. It makes me sad because I really enjoy the devotionals, but the app is really disappointing.

Since update can’t get it
Up set I can’t get it on my iPad, I have been a member since 2021.
New 01/2026 version
This has fixed many of my issues with the last iteration of the app. It’s nice to see this get updates, and I would just like to be able to schedule a notification that would take me straight to the daily at certain times (first thing in the morning, late at night in case I miss it).
No good
This app is difficult to use. It makes no sense. You need to update it.
Too commercial
I have subscribed to upper room for several years, with the latest update to the app there is a a lot of ads to subscribe. I don’t get the bio of the author. Guess I like the previous version.
Morning Go To
I thoroughly enjoy starting my day with UR. Although I’m not impressed with the new format you have when opening the app. I guess I’ll adapt, but I prefer the older version. It just seems too busy for my taste.
Slooow tech support
The app seems to have forgotten my subscription, and I’ve waited 2 weeks for a response from customer service to get it straightened out.
