Works! (Mostly…)
Unlike every other app I’ve tried so far, this one ACTUALLY works to compress my larger videos! I was able to compress videos just under 30GB all the way down to 1-2GB or even less if I wanted. That said, there’s one 6GB video that it doesn’t want to work with for some reason, not sure what that’s all about…
One thing I’m not too big a fan on (but also it doesn’t bug me too much) is how, even though you’re given the option to reduce the file by a specified amount of your choice (anywhere from 10%-99%), it doesn’t actually comply with your request and typically will go substantially lower—I tried compressing multiple videos to 20% of their original quality, and it compressed them over 90%, aka below 10% of the original quality. It didn’t bug me too much, but something I wanted to note for others using this app.
Not a fan of how it requires a paid subscription when there are free alternatives, but because they offer a 7-day free trial that makes it *slightly* better. The price of the subscription is a little much, though.
