I called three different chimney cleaners and had no success getting anyone that was available for over a month. I logged into TVL contacted a chimney company and 3 days later they were at my home. They were a professional firm and I could not have been happier with the experience. This is the future!!!

TVL - truly making homeownership easy
I have used TVL both as a professional and consumer. In less than 1 year, I have secured estimates and communicated with several top rated local contractors through the platform. To date, I have completed 6 jobs using TVL. It is easy to use, and most importantly, the quality of the contractors I have met through the platform have been great. It is refreshing to be able to use technology to fast track communication with local tradesman, and get jobs done quickly.
While the payment options in the platform need to be expanded, I am confident the founders will continue to improve the functionality of the app, as they grow the platform. I would encourage anyone, whether they are a local homeowner or professional contractor to give TVL a try. It has the potential to be a game changer in the home renovation and maintenance space.

Localized source for all home repairs (and more)
The Village Ledger has replaced texting my neighbors as the source for all my home repair needs. I have found the app very easy to use , cutting my search time in half. I used national services in the past but always found I would have to supply my phone number and then field calls from someone unaware of my initial inquiry and all the information I provided to expedite my search.
The Village Ledger has provided a curated list of local businesses that have proven reliable, vetted and responsive. More vendors seem to be added weekly providing me with a variety of suppliers to choose from.

Big Help After Ida
Our basement was flooded - first time in 42 years. We called the big boys for remediation and were put on a long list. Then we went on TVL and got a local crew who came and cleaned the area before we were even contacted by the larger groups. The cleaning crew did a spectacular job and I couldn’t be more pleased with them and with the Village Ledger. I will always use this App.
