Visiting Stonehenge and Bath
The things we saw were amazing, however, there were a lot of hiccups along the way. The driver was not given the correct pickup point, we were unable to connect either with him until he texted us, and he is the car got a flat tire which was not his fault and he did not put that in the allotted hours which we were thankful for.
However it impacted the entire day. We spent not as much time in Bath as we hoped due to the tire incident and it then took 3 plus hours to get to our hotel. This added an additional cost of 95 pounds.
When I made the arrangements I requested a vehicle that would manage our luggage and four people. I was told it would be a van but instead it was a Mercedes SUV. All the luggage got in but we were crammed in like sardines.
The driver was personable but not knowledgable about the area. I expected a bit more from the reviews posted from your site. I am not sure I would repeat this adventure.
I know it was not his fault and the time allocated for the tour did not take in the traffic issues. I do not believe though that we should have had to pay extra considering how long it took for the tires to be replaced and in the end put us into a traffic nightmare in uncomfortable conditions.
