This app has saved me a few times helping me prepare for last minute auditions, easy to use and highly recommended.
No space for the learner to speak
When I’ve used language learning cds, the voice actor will say the word and then there will be a pause where the learner can say the word out loud for practice. But this app just says all the words in a row, one after the other, leaving no space for the learner to actually practice saying the word out loud. How are we supposed to learn if the app doesn’t build in a way for us to say the words out loud along the way?

Great help with learning Irish Accent
Loving this app. Particularly the self record feature to compare with native speakers shows me where I need to improve.
Not so great
I made an in app purchase for the New York accent. This didn’t provide me with much more than what was already available for free. Also, female voice was too monotone, no inflection, just straight reading.
useful app
I liked this app. A good start for exploring English language accents and I am thinking of using this as a teaching tool. I don't need all the accents so I am ok with paying for the ones that interest me the most.
Excellent and simple
I love this app. It is so simple and elegant to use. I have been wanting to understand and learn how to formulate accents as I work in a multicultural environment. It’s an incredibly complex subject but this app has broken it down into simple bytes that even I can understand. It’s a must for anyone that wishes to understand dialects.

Not Really a “Free App”
The only accent that has free materials is the Irish accent. All the other accents require payment to even use the materials effectively.
Very motivating
I have found the VoiceCafe App a perfect tool for my practice.
There is a lot in there which is both informative and user friendly.
I particularly like the ‘My voiceover practice’ where I can make audio recordings along the way. Not only can I keep track of my progress but it is also very motivating.

Amazing
I've been using Voice Café to learn General American and so far it's been amazing. Easy, affordable and effective, what more can you ask for really?
Brilliant handy voice app
Love this! It's so good having a voice app on my phone that I can use anytime I want to do a quick refresh on an accent. Super useful as I put my headphones in and listen en route to auditions and just for general day to day practise.
Am recommending to my acting mates. Also as an aside, they offer some great blogs and regular content and cool stuff on Twitter.

Fix restore purchase issue
I can’t restore my purchase from iCloud. The button doesn’t work. I hope this fix is made so we can access our purchases from different phones. Thanks
The Voice Cafe App Is Awesome
Simplicity is bliss, I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw so anything too technical gets the better of me however the voice cafe app is very easy to use and understand, it is a great purchase that has benefited my life greatly.
My speech has massively improved in general and helped with my acting career in RP & American since I started using the app.
It's a very useful tool to have on your phone for before auditions.

This is a really cool app
I've been looking for an app like this for ages
Wonderful. I can practice lots of different accents which is an important skill in my job. Wonderful for actors, people wanting to improve their intonation and simply fun.
