Love the app, hate the biometrics
I like to look at the app in bed. The face scan always fails because it's dark. I would give all stars otherwise.
Very cool
Super cool app. Biometrics make sense when you know why the developers chose it, doesn’t leave your device, just so the app doesn’t get flooded with bots. Always talking to real people unlike most social media now. Text and discourse based, really interesting way to mimic the “feeling informed” way of the typical social media algorithm without the harsh negatives. A lot more encouraging to engage than the pressures other socials bring.

Biometrics
The app requires biometric verification (face scan) to confirm you’re not a bot. Even though they state the data isn’t stored, I’m personally uncomfortable providing biometric information for this purpose. I would prefer alternative verification methods like email or SMS. Users who value privacy may want to consider this before downloading.
