Annoying new message
I have the same gripe as the previous review. Why is it telling me to open settings and turn on notifications EVERY time I open the app? This is VERY annoying.
Annoying notifications request on opening
I’ve been using this app for several years and the journalist content is fine.
However a recent update has introduced a request to sign up for notifications EVERY time the app is launched.
This is unnecessary and VERY annoying
If I say no notifications once, that should be the only time I need to do that.

Love this app, I check it every day. Great to keep up with local news and road/weather notifications.
Good app for local news
Have had this app a while now and it provides informative up to date news pretty regularly and perhaps more importantly much needed travel news for Wanaka and surrounding mountain passes and West Coast roads
There are some minor issues navigating the main menu but largely speaking pretty reliable
