About

The Watch League is the home for watch nerds. It answers a question nobody asked: which watches would come out on top if we all had a say? Every watch in The League has a rank. You're the reason it moves. Swipe right to vote a watch up. Swipe left to send it down. Leave a take. Start an argument. Join our members who apparently have very strong feelings about case diameter and whether a date window ruins everything. BROWSE See where every watch stands in the all-time rankings, updated live. Filter by sub-league, brand, or just your favourites. SEARCH Search across 1,000+ watches. Browse what's new to The League, what's rising this week, recommendations based on your vote history, and watches you might have missed. CURATE Swipe right to upvote, left to downvote. Leave a written verdict on every watch you rate. Your votes update the live rankings in real time — every swipe counts. DISCUSS A social feed of hot takes from your fellow watch nerds, considered verdicts, and the occasional horological hill someone is prepared to die on. Swipe right to Agree with a post, left to Disagree. Leave a note for the author. Compose your own take. Read editorial from The Prodigal Guide. Your Reactions tab shows who responded to you and what they said. NOMINATE Think something's missing? Search first — if it's not in The League yet, nominate it. Type a reference number and brand, model, case material, and specs fill in automatically. YOUR PROFILE Claim your @handle. Build a profile with your bio, favourite brand, One Watch Only pick, social links, and Favourites. Share your public profile at thewatchleague.app/@yourhandle — via link or QR code for in-person handoffs. THE COMMUNITY Follow members whose taste you respect — or whose opinions you enjoy disagreeing with. See who's following you. Find new members. Share any watch with a branded card and a link that opens directly in the app. THE WEEKLY DISPATCH Every Friday: the week's biggest movers, your personalised results — "The League agreed with you" and "The League disagreed with you" — and hand-picked writing from The Prodigal Guide. The Watch League is completely free. Always will be. If you're enjoying it, a rating or review in the App Store takes thirty seconds and genuinely means the world to us.

What's New in The Watch League

1.7.1

August 3, 2026

# What's New — v1.7.1 The watch detail page has been redesigned around a single, unified "What League members say" section. Vote reasons and community comments now appear together in one scrollable column rather than being split across two separate sections. A small "X For · Y Against" summary line above the list preserves the at-a-glance verdict. Vote-reason cards carry a thumbs-up or thumbs-down indicator so you always know whether a post is attached to a vote or is a freeform comment. A clapping-hands count in green and a raised-hand count in red appear under the author's name on any post that has reactions. A filter and sort bar sits above the list. Filter to see only "For" votes, "Against" votes, or standalone comments. Sort by Newest, Oldest, or Most Agreed — where Most Agreed ranks by net reaction score (claps minus boos), with recency as the tiebreaker. We're beavering away on The Watch League so you don't have to — and it will always be completely free for members. If you're enjoying it, a quick rating or review in the App Store takes thirty seconds and genuinely means the world to us.
