Great Groomer, App not so much
I’ve always been pleased with the services at The Wet Dog but the app needs some serious attention. It’s extremely slow and takes ages to load any information.

I took Stasha, our 1.5yr old Shih-poo, to be groomed after using several places here in Madison as well as Huntsville, of which we were never truly pleased and, in fact, had had a couple of horrible experiences. I had been on the search for a good place to take her as to where I didn’t read or hear of “grooming horror stories”, as I’m sure you’re all familiar with.
I was searching on the Nextdoor App for anyone speaking of any new places or other places we had yet to check out that had good recommendations and comments. Immediately my search popped up news and comments about The Wet Dog. I read the comments and found out that the owner was well known from working at one of our local vets for quite some time and was very well sought after.
I called them right away and spoke with the owner, and he was very nice and professional and told me to download their app and that I could do EVERYTHING from there including, but not limited to, downloading all of her health and immunization records, send messages for any questions or suggestions you may have, booking appointments, uploading pictures of your pet, storing payment information, agreeing/or not to sign up for text message, emails and such, and more.
After I hung up from making Stasha’s first appointment, I immediately downloaded the app and and began uploading all of her information, and it was SO VERY EASY and USER FRIENDLY. One other thing that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED about The Wet Dog is that it’s CAGE FREE and the system of pick-up and drop-off that they use. Once you go for your first time, you’ll understand why they use the system that they do and why it’s very important to download their app.
In the end, Stasha looked amazing and we couldn’t have been happier. I’m sure you’ll love it too!! CALL THEM NOW!!! 😊
