About
You run a secret newspaper.
Every night, tips land on your desk. Some are true. Some are lies. And some are traps — planted by powerful people who want your front page to do their dirty work.
For every story, one choice:
PRINT — run it. Sell papers. Take the heat.
CHASE — check it before the city reads it. Catching a lie saves your reputation. Catching a trap lets you turn it on whoever set it.
BURY — kill it. The powerful remember when you stay quiet. So will you.
You can't check everything — candles are scarce — and the paper only has so much room. At dawn, you build the front page yourself: pick the lead story, set the layout, roll the presses. Then read what the morning brings, including the fallout from the stories you buried.
- Quick games: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or a longer three-night run.
- 60 stories that connect. Check tonight's rumor about the docks, and a bigger story finds you tomorrow.
- 10 endings — from losing your paper to running the most trusted press in the city.
- Every game is different.
Free. No ads. No purchases. No sign-ups. No internet needed. Nothing about you is collected — the game doesn't even have networking code.
