I have used many different companion apps for a lot of different games over the years and one thing that they all had in common was the price.

I just started the game again. So far I see theres a couple things from the map that i’ve found.
Predatory Marketing
The only thing available without paying is the map. Incredibly misleading to advertise all of these features for a free app and say some things require purchase when it’s 95% off the content in the app. Would give 0 stars if I could

You’ll still need to google any and all pertinent information, especially on the school gear quests, in completing and or finding what your actually after. WNR
In app purchases with a subscription as well
There is another which is free and has a much better map. This is just rent seeking for no reason. The data is all over the internet and GitHub

Latest update says layout improvement
Latest update says layout improvement and what is does is that it locks everything behind a paywall. The app was free for years and now suddenly the only thing free is the map.

Okay, I don’t usually give reviews (I know, such a cliche thing to say, but it’s true for me in this case) but this needed to be given one. It’s perfect in every way, including the way they built the app…it’s very logical, and I’m a huge fan of their work. They just have an awesome team of devs, and I can also honestly say I’ve purchased nearly all their guides.

It’s only a guide if you spend money to unlock the full version. The free version is a map. I’m not spending 2 dollars for info that’s already on the web
