Horrible waste of money

This is the worst app I've ever bought. Normally when you pay money for an app the ads are not included. This one has an ad on every page, and you can't even close them to see the entire page of the story.
In addition to the annoying ads, part of the text on each page is hidden, but there is no reliable way to access this hidden paragraph. Sometimes it se me to appear, and other times it doesn't. If you click the next button, it advances to the next page, skipping content. I was unable to finish reading this book to my granddaughter. Terrible app. I am asking for a refund.

Ridiculous ads

I got the free version for my 3 year old to
"Read" for road trips, understanding that there would be ads. But seriously every other page a video ad pops up that you cannot exit out of even after the requisite 5, 10 or 15 seconds where the ad takes over other free version of apps. You can't even understand the ad because the background music of the story still plays while the ad is playing. So I had to exit completely out of the "book" and restart to continue the story. And let's be clear, the app/book without the ads is not worth the $4.99 regular price. Useless.

Painful and virtually worthless

Animation is fairly pathetic, and narration is soporific. The ads kill things though...constant bombardment in a child's app? Does my 5 year old really need offers for bundled Internet and tv, or for an online university? Then all the constant ads crash the app.

Needs better controls

The app should allow you to turn off the background music. The retelling of the story is not bad. When reading the book without the narration it doesn't allow you to move to the next text on the screen. You need to wait instead of moving to the next part of the text. If this was fixed I could give a better review. I hope they update this.

Did not like it

Horrible, horrible narration. That person sounds like she is going to die. The tone is awful, very hard to perceive and understand. Music is very irritating, very loud, same one repeats over and over again on every page. Also way too loud, which makes narration even worse ( no opt.ion to turn it off). I honestly feel like deleting it from my device(((
