Browse 600+ wood species on your phone—no account, no download, and it works in the shop with no signal. • Search as you type by common name or scientific name • Filter by region and Janka hardness, or show Favorites only • Sort by name, Janka (hardest first), region, or strength-to-weight • Detail screens with a grain photo, prominent Janka hardness, and grouped origin, density, strength, and shrinkage info • Star species from the list or the detail screen; favorites stay on your device and sync with your backup if you use one SHOP TOOLS Since the last App Store version, the tools you actually tap every day got a lot of attention: • Fraction Calculator — tape-measure math: live preview, kerf mode, improper fractions that carry the way they should, repeat-equals, show-your-work steps, and one-tap send into cut lists, projects, or the journal • Cut List (Dimensional) — exact-fit boards no longer report zero cuts; saving opens the list you just saved; adding stock or parts takes on the first tap and confirms it worked • Cut List (Sheet Goods) — same reliable save-and-open flow; name, notes, and date sit above the print/share icons instead of getting squeezed • First launch — language and the one-time Privacy Policy / Terms acknowledgment are now one screen, not two gates in a row UNDER THE HOOD This is a native store update (not an over-the-air patch), so it also includes the platform work that future updates ride on: • Upgraded to Expo SDK 55 (React Native 0.83) • Smaller, faster over-the-air updates from here — the app can download a patch of what changed instead of the whole bundle • Shop Journal voice notes now use the current audio stack; unused older media libraries are gone As always: free, no ads, no subscription. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to back it up.
