It’s back!
I gotta say, it has been a while since the app has been functioning. I came back and checked in— only to find my favorite app revived. Word of God is great for any Christian or people who are interested in the faith. The app is very helpful to me during Mass— and I almost forgot to say I LOVE how I can listen to the daily readings. Anyways, if you’re looking for something spark your faith or want to read your Bible-look no further— this is your app. Its simplicity is what we need in 2026. Thank you, 3JMJ, this app was just what I was looking for— and just in time for Lent!

Love this app.
The Word of God
This once beautiful app has stopped working completely. First to go was the read, now the listen. So sad. I loved this app!
Worst
It has gone from best to worst. Not allowing reading version. Could only allow listening to only the particular day you open. Absolutely gone worst.
Error on my app
Love this app but recently I can only listen not read. I normally press listen, then read so I can follow along. Every time I press read, it kicks me off the app.
The Word of God
Stops playing about 30 seconds into the readings. Tried deleting and re-downloading- didn’t help.
It only works when there is only one reading option
Unfortunately apples platform is crap and developers here cannot keep up. This app used to work well but then Apple ruined it’s IOS which cause this app to fail. When on any given day there is a choice for year A or year C the ability to click on the year and then read your choice is not an option. The link is dead. The listen option works but also only for the first 10-15 seconds. Additionally Saturday vigil mass for the following Sunday is often non functional. Really hope this gets fixed soon but I may delete the app because now it is not working.

Great app. Love it daily. Easy reads and free of pop ups and ads. Unfortunately the last week it stopped working for me. Hope they fix the glitch soon.

Fix the timer
This app is great but I have noticed two problems:
1) the iphone black screen timer always runs out before the readings finish, which is extremely annoying. Many apps have this set to stay open; can you do that?
2) on days with multiple choices for readings, such as Ascension or Holy Thursday, Christmas, etc, the audio version just does one and does not give the option to choose the appropriate text for the mass readings one might be attending.
Otherwise I am glad to use this daily.

Favorite most used App on my phone
I love this App, I tell all my dear friends to download it. I listen to the daily readings thanks to how easy it is. I love the diversity of the readers! Real people; they read with great love for the Word of God! If I could give it a higher rating I would!
Just what I was looking for!
This app is excellent and it is just what I was looking for. I went through many poor options until I found this one. Having the option to listen to or to read the daily readings is wonderful! If you choose to listen to the readings the voices are real people that speak clearly and at a perfect speed. Not too slow and not too fast. You also have the option to read the daily readings while listening to them. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Problem
This is a nice app for daily mass readings. However, there is a problem with it when there is more than one choice on a given day. e.g. Thursday, May 25, 2017. There are two options: 1, for the Ascension, and 2, for Thursday of the 6th week of Easter. Whenever there are two options, neither one seems to work.

This app has been an inspiration to my daily prayer life. Question : what happened to the three commentaries given before?
Great for those of us off the grid.
This is my new favorite app. I am working the next year in the Alaskan bush as the sole healthcare provider. We don't always have a Priest and sometimes I just can't go! Love this app!

Awesome Mass Readings App
What a wonderful way to start the day by listening to the daily Mass readings. I attend Saturday evening Mass and this app lets me listen ahead. This helps me be better prepared for Mass. I'm able to focus even more closely on the messages, not just hearing the words.
I've used this app for years and have shared it with many. It is especially helpful since attending daily Mass is not doable.
