Description is false. You have to pay.
I downloaded the app because it stated, “With free hunts in each park, there is no risk, so download the app and give it a try”. Unfortunately none of the hunts are free and require you to purchase coins to unlock hunt packages in the park. Universal and Islands of adventure would cost you 20$ for 8 hunts. The app seems nice, but google is completely free

This was temporary right after Covid Closures.... Because of the closures due to Covid and the social distancing re-openings, we removed most of the hunts from the app and updated them all with any changes in the parks, so there was a short period where there the Free Hunts were not on the app. All has been updated and there are free hunts in all parks. Sorry for the temporary lack of those hunts and for the delayed response. The app has been fully updated and hunts in all parks have been updated and added, both free hunts and additional paid hunts. Enjoy! :)
