Themes for Writers provides a handy, easy-to-use reference of the seven basic story themes - the part of the story that provides its "moral" and provokes emotional and thoughtful responses from the audience.
Use the app to explore the seven main themes, the types of stories that stem from these themes, and the "moral of the story" that come with them.
Within the app you can also store your own projects and capture ideas for episodes or subplots that come out of specific themes.
Use the app as a companion to the Enneagram and Myth Structure little writing apps.

The app is now free to allow you to explore the seven themes. Access to projects is available as an in-app purchase. Existing users who paid for the app will be granted access to their projects. In the free section: - Updated to expand on Story Archetypes - versions of universal stories grouped by their associated themes. There are five story archetypes to explore in each of the seven themes. In the premium projects section - Add example scene ideas to capture the value peaks and troughs - Select a story archetype for each themed plot or episode - Improved export
