About
This app is designed to help you prepare for the driving theory test in Israel.
Theory brings your study tools together in one place, organized by license class and ready to use at your own pace.
The interface and question content are available in Hebrew, Arabic, English, Russian, French and Spanish. Question content follows the app language and stays fixed throughout an active practice or mock-exam session.
Practice with a bank of 1,800 questions based on the Ministry of Transport’s public datasets, complete a 30-question mock exam in 40 minutes, review mistakes and see which topics need more attention.
What you can do
• Take a full 30-question, 40-minute mock exam
• Practice random questions from all four topics
• Focus on traffic laws, road signs, road safety or vehicle knowledge
• Study for license classes A, B, C, C1, D and class 1
• Review each mistake alongside your answer and the correct answer
• Track progress clearly by topic
• Receive one focused next-step recommendation when it is relevant
• Use optional read aloud and a daily reminder
• Get sound and haptic feedback for meaningful actions, with settings to turn either off
Study in the way that suits you
The interface follows each language’s reading direction, supports Larger Text and Dark Mode, and communicates answer states with text and symbols rather than color alone.
Progress is stored on your device and no account is required. The app is free to download and includes ads. Ads can be removed with a one-time in-app purchase.
Important information
Theory is an independent study app. It is not operated, funded, endorsed or approved by Israel’s Ministry of Transport and Road Safety or any other government body. The questions are based on the Ministry’s public datasets published on gov.il and data.gov.il. If there is a discrepancy, the latest official information takes precedence.
The privacy policy, terms of use, accessibility statement and contact details are available on the support website.
