Really Good

I would say that this is an AWESOME addition to a phone as an illusion. It works really well, but there could be more scenes for it.

It would be very hard to do it, but you should somehow make it be able to view spatial photos for iPhones.

Otherwise, this is really awesome.

FAQ

What does TheParallaxView do?

TheParallaxView creates a 3D depth illusion on your iPhone. It uses ARKit and your device's TrueDepth camera to track your head movements. This allows the app to render a view that makes objects appear to be in front of or behind your screen.

What are the key features of this app?

The app's main feature is generating a 3D depth illusion through head tracking. It utilizes ARKit and the TrueDepth camera for accurate tracking. It also employs off-axis projection to achieve the visual effect, and allows for selecting which eye to track for optimal results.

Is TheParallaxView free to use?

Yes, the application is available for free. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements mentioned, suggesting a completely free experience for users.

What devices are compatible with TheParallaxView?

This application specifically requires an iPhone equipped with a TrueDepth camera. It leverages ARKit, which is available on compatible iPhone models. Older iPhones or those without a TrueDepth camera will not be able to run the app.

How can I get the best illusion effect?

For the best results, it is recommended that only one eye is open while using the app. The app provides an option to select which eye to track or attempts to select it automatically. This helps in achieving a more convincing 3D depth illusion.
