Damit verpasse ich kein Rennen oder die dazugehörige Qualifikation zu verpassen.
Allerdings sind aktuell die DTM Uhrzeiten nicht richtig (1 Std. zu früh).

Great APP-Terribly Slow

Good app to keep your race weekends organized and so you know you are not missing out on any sessions.

Also I have paid for the full service and they give me ads in at the top every time I log in, however I still do believe that the 10 bucks subscription for a year IS WELL WORTH IT.

Edit: App sometimes has some issues loading duration times and start times, but overall has improved over the last year 4/5

Not Accurate

Literally just missed the NASCAR race because this app said it started a completely different time. Almost two hours late to the race thanks to this app. I honestly praised this app for quite a while too and paid money for the widgets! but this is some bull. If you’re going to make an app to show all motorsports times at least make sure they’re accurate for local time too.

Hey Tulips. I'm sorry this happened, but unfortunately this was a change by NASCAR less than 5 hours before the race was due to begin. The Pocono Cup race was scheduled at 15:00 local time and was moved to 13:00 local time due to incoming weather. None of The Racing Line is automatic and requires manual collation to ensure timetables are correct. When series make a change at the last moment, even if I update the app, if you don't open the app then unfortunately you won't see the change. Motorsport is annoyingly fluid compared to most sports. I am truly sorry this happened to you. Dave

Must for any motorsport enthusiast

Was looking for an app that shows every professional motorsport series happening on a given weekend. Came across this a year ago, and couldn’t ask for more. Lists all series I select, and displays as tile on my home screen. Worth the pay.
Two things I would like to see in future are 1) Live broadcaster / broadcasters / OTT of the series on that weekend based on my geolocation 2) Results of the finished events when I click on it (atleast top 3). I think these two features will make the app more complete.

A godsend for global racing fans

Takes the guesswork out of knowing what’s on when, from local events where you can get the track schedule for different categories, to global events when you’re tuning in for quali and the race.
Even has links to access the races.
Love your work!

Declining

It was once a reliable and accurate source for race schedules up to a week in advance. Now, it’s been cut down to showing racing schedules up to only 1 day out. Also, a huge miss not having an option to be notified when selected races are about to air.

Hey Jetholl - which events are you only seeing one day out? The majority of events are 2 weeks in advance. I can only do the timetables when they’re public and some series (Porsche Asia, MXGP, Supercross for example) only post a day before the event. The app is run by 1 person and relies on series posting events. Which ones were you having issues with? There are notification options in settings - notifications. You can set a notification for days/hours/minutes before your select series are about to start. Can you email me at dave@theracingline.app and i can look into any potential technical issues you’re having with timetables not showing?

I had the discounted full year before, if you pay for pro this is a good app but you’re better off just finding the information you want yourself if you don’t pay.

Requesting features

Please add a button to add events to google calendar not just for Apple calendar. Would love to see all my favorite events broken down by each section and their times in google calendar. Much easier to track.

Also can we get schedule tracking for “24 Hours of Lemons”?

Hey Sky! This is on my todo list. I had a prototype of it working but it was buggy and broke people’s calendars. Because everyone has their own visibility settings it means generating a calendar for each person. I’m yet to work out how to do that in a safe and reliable way. But it’s on the list!

Solid app

You have to consistently open the app a few times throughout the week for it to work. It isn’t the end of the world but the app stops working if you forget to open it for a little while. Other than that it is a fantastic app. It has basically every racing series I can think of. App some decent customization too. You can customize when your notifications go off and you can decide what series you want to follow, you also get to decide what sessions you get notified for. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star is the fact that it will stop working if you don’t open the app.

Love this App great way to keep up with all the sports that I enjoy, one thing would be great, if a notification popped up 10 minutes before the event

Hi there 👋 If you go to Settings - Notifications. You can set which series and sessions you want notifications for (for example, F1, IndyCar, NASCAR, Race and Qualifying) and set the offset to 10 minutes and you’ll get a notification for these 10 minutes before :)

Key features now premium

After using this app for several months, most key features are now gated by a subscription, including notifications and start times. No point in the app if you don’t have those.

Hi Rogerscgreg. There has been no change in the features which are subscription and the free tier in the 5 years the app has been live. It’s the same features as before. With no subscription, users still have access to an all the series calendars which shows the date of every race, and links to the series site, live timing and YouTube pages. Thousands of users still find value in this. Subscription includes session times, notifications, and the ability to stream the YouTube videos without leaving The Racing Line.

A MUST HAVE for every Motorsport fan

I used to have to scour the Internet to sync with a dozen disparate race calendars to try to get everything into my schedule. This is amazing - all in one place and even links to live streams. It really is the best app I’ve seen for a racing fan.

I really like it. It has many different series and all times and dates. If I were to add anything it would be to star ⭐️ races and have a link to where I can watch the race. Overall I love it.

Thank you for the lovely review 🙏 For streaming, if you tap on a session on the Home tab, it will take you to the event page. If there are YouTube streams, I embed these directly in the app on that page. If it’s streams we can’t embed, tap the chain link icon 🔗 near the top right - it has links to where the event is streaming. Series/Sessions with a camera icon 🎥 are embedded in the app. There’s also the Watch tab at the bottom. This has everything i can embed in 1 tab. 😊
