Es wird nur ein optischer Filter über das Bild gelegt. Wenn man aber das Licht ausschaltet wird das Bild schwarz.
Bei echter Infrarot-Sicht wäre dann das Wärmebild sichtbar, auch im Dunklen. Und ja, Smartphonekameras können tatsächlich Infrarotlicht aufnehmen. Zielt mal mit einer Infrarotfernbedienung (von TV, Stereoanlage etc.) auf eure Smartphonekamera während ihr die Kamera-App geöffnet habt und drückt eine Taste auf der Fernbedienung. Dann seht ihr im Smartphonedisplay das für das menschliche Auge nicht sichtbare Infrarotlicht der LED an der Fernbedienung leuchten.

It is not good do not buy
It doesn’t work the night vision doesn’t work the thermal Camera doesn’t work
Fake thermal function
I got this app for the thermal function. It does not actually work does not matter temperature. It only picks up white objects as big temperature differences and with it being a subscription absolutely not worth it
Do not download
No instructions on how to use. It’s a subscription service that seems next to impossible to cancel
