What's New in Thermomator

2.1.3

July 18, 2026

Bug fixes and improvements. Restored Live Activities and widgets for everyone who had Thermomator before 2.0 — Pro, free, permanently. Included in this version: Changes in Thermomator 2.1.1 - If you downloaded Thermomator before version 2.0, you now have Pro for life at no cost. Nothing to buy, nothing to restore. - Locking features that had already shipped for free was shortsighted of me. Anything I charge for from now on will be something I've added, never something I've taken away. - Thank you to everyone who told me plainly. It changed how I'm building this app. Changes in Thermomator 1.2 - All new widgets: Monitor your device's thermal status at a glance. Always up to date with the latest status. - Export your thermal history to CSV or JSON. - Fixed an issue where real time thermal state update notifications stops working under certain conditions. Changes in Thermomator 1.1 BIG UPDATE TO LIVE ACTIVITIES - GREAT FOR HOT SUMMER COMING UP! - Fixed an issue where the dashboard's real time thermal state update stops working under certain conditions - Improved Chart View's drawing logic - Added full iPadOS support including Sidebar - Monitor your device's thermal state at a glance with Thermomator 1.1's brand-new Chart View! - Looks great in Dynamic Island, Lock Screen, or Standby Mode! - INSTANT display info updates whenever your device's thermal state changes. - Fixed a bug where thermal state stops updating after Live Activities launch. - Added Live Activities toggle in Dashboard for quick on/off. - Other bug fixes and improvements.

Paywalling.

Update:
The change has been undone and previous of the app now have Pro for free. Thanks to the dev for listening to feedback, however note that you have to press the restore button if you deleted the app and reinstalled it.

I thought this app was really cool. I really did. The design is beautiful and it had a good UI. Recently after updating, I find that already existing features from older versions of the app have been PAYWALLED after a recent update. I will not be supporting an app developer who is adding greed to a thermal monitoring app. I think the fact that it’s paywalled is absurd. Goodbye thermomator, you were good while you lasted.

Response from developer

I'm sorry. Putting features behind a paywall that were already free was a shortsighted decision, and reading your review made me realise how it must have looked from your side. You'd been using Live Activities and widgets since 1.1, and then one day I just took them away. I don't really have a good excuse for that. I've released 2.1.1. Anyone who had Thermomator before 2.0 now gets Pro for life, for free. You don't need to buy anything or restore anything, just update and it should all be back. From now on I'll only charge for things I actually add. Thanks for being honest about it. It genuinely changed how I'm thinking about this app, and I'd be really glad if you gave it another try. Haruhiro

New update makes you pay

New update makes you pay for old features that used to be free.
Renders the app useless.

Response from developer

Sorry about this, and thank you for reporting it. Locking Live Activities and widgets behind Pro after they'd already been free was shortsighted of me, and I've undone it. With version 2.1.1, if you had the app before 2.0, you've been given Pro for life at no cost, so both should be working again after you update. If they're still not working, please email me at haruhiro@bybeit.app and I'll look into it straight away. Haruhiro
