You can also add readings manually and explore practical reference methods when a sensor is not available. EXPERIMENTAL ACOUSTIC THERMOMETER Estimate air temperature using the speed of sound and an echo from a nearby wall. ThermoWeather runs several measurements, adjusts for humidity, and shows the estimated uncertainty instead of presenting the result as an exact sensor reading. The acoustic method is an estimate and may have a significant error depending on distance, room acoustics, noise, and measurement setup.
