ThermVoltGe is a character-focused germanium distortion processor for iPhone and iPad. Use it as a standalone audio app or insert the included AUv3 effect in a compatible host such as GarageBand. Its nonlinear core is built around an OA91-style germanium-diode architecture. A low forward-voltage threshold, asymmetric conduction, temperature dependency, battery sag, and supply-voltage interaction create early compression and a soft, rounded clipping response. Restore Purchases is available in the standalone app. Customers whose verified original app version is 1.0.2 or earlier retain full access automatically without an additional purchase. ThermVoltGe is designed for guitar, bass, synthesizers, keyboards, and other sources that benefit from compressed, harmonically rich germanium drive.
