Great story. Fun game
The World Ends With You is an incredible game and one all rpg fans should check out. I played the ds version and I played this version years ago. The story is great and the game was fun to play. The solo version was a good rendition of the game.
EDIT: with the new update, the game works great on iOS 13. Definitely a game worth checking out if you’re looking for a good storyline with some fun gameplay. I’m pretty impressed with the developer’s commitment to updating a several year old game too.

An amazing game with a few bugs
I love this game but a few bugs hold it back from being perfect. Namely the cutscenes were completely absent when I played it. The game also crashed on me a few times and the background music would just disappear. I would recommend the shame to anyone but please just fix the bugs.

re downloaded this for the first time in a while after getting a brand new phone and I can’t get past the home screen without it freezing. There doesn’t seem to be any intention to update it so not worth buying if you’re thinking to.

I’ve been trying to play this game for quite some time and i was ecstatic to learn of this fantastic port. I don’t play mobile games but this is real thoughtful and great port of an amazing game

Crashes at Start
For some reason I can’t get the game to properly work, it initialized, start menu, then freezes and leaves me stuck at a black screen.
Im playing this on an Iphone 8 so Im not sure whats the heck is going on or why this hasn’t been looked into.

It won’t let me start a new game
I bought this game for almost $20... and it won’t even work...
I open the app, then it goes to the title screen... I click “new game” and it just goes to a black screen... I tried to uninstall/reinstall but it still won’t work... I’m frustrated already and I haven’t even played the game.... get it together...

dont waste your money the game doesnt work
bought this game bc i loved it on my ds. my ds no longer works so when i found this on the app store i was so excited! that excitement quickly faded however when i tried to start a new game and was met with a completely black screen. this happens every time and i even tried deleting the app and redownloading. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

End of an era...
Once this game was absolutely amazing. I remember when it was first released on iOS and it was just incredible! Phenomenal music, brilliant gameplay, and a truly Epic story.
Unfortunately with time, Apple constantly pushing updates and Square Enix NOT doing the same, the game doesn’t run properly on current devices. Which is sad...
I have loved this game and was looking forward to playing through it again, but can’t at this point.
As such I have to strongly recommend that folks avoid purchasing this game at this point until the issues many are reporting are fixed.

TWEWY life before IOS 13
I played this game before the update of IOS 13, It is still the best game mixed with story, gameplay style, art style, and characters with crazy origins. But still it is sad is also unplayable. 4.7/5 Stars

I am in love with The World Ends With You, but I didn't think my playing this game ended with "you". My only concern with this app is that it's not compatible with ios13 or my iPhone 6s please update!
Great title
I played this 2 years ago and it was amazing! Unfortunately I reinstalled it on my iPhone and all the cinematic are bugged, plus the controls seem to be broken? Would appreciate some fix or feedback; and gladly give this title 5 stars!
Screen stays black when starting a new game
I’ve been trying to start a new game on my iPhone but every time I try to, the screen stays black. I’ll just play the Switch version from now on.
APP HAS PROBLEMS
I recently payed for and downloaded this game (2020) and I have an IPhone 6s with IOS 13. For some reason, every time I try to load the game after pressing “New Game” from the menu, the game will not begin and instead goes to a black screen. SE has to fix this and update the game so I can finally play what everyone calls a masterpiece.
