Quite buggy right now
As of this writing (v3.22.9) the Things app on Vision Pro is quite buggy. Text fields do not render correctly, notification badges are stale, and arrow keys on a keyboard do not function, among other problems. I am a heavy Things user and I trust these issues will be fixed, but I want to caution that now is probably not the best time to buy this app.

Dark Mode
Great app except they forgot to add dark mode to the Vision Pro.
Unusable on Vision Pro without Dark Mode
Regret the purchase. Not sure why they can’t implement it… they have all the settings and colors on other platforms. Frustrating experience from a company usually on top of things.
No Dark Mode and No Shortcuta
The visionOS version of Things lacks Dark Mode.
I cannot craft a legible interface suited to my visual capacity using Shortcuts because visionOS Shortcuts does not list any actions for visionOS Things.
Two stars because if it were usable, it would be beautiful. The screenshots make me feel wistful.

Unreadable by Me, but That’s Why There’s Voice Over
I can read sans serif fonts when its white text on a black background. In the macOS version of Things, I can set Dark Mode in Settings | Appearance. Alas, this version of Things for Vision has no Settings | Appearance. A workaround is to use a brightly-lit Environment like one of the snowscapes or the Moon at Daytime, then activate Smart Invert or Classic Invert in Accessibility. Another workaround is Voice Over. Summary: This version is for low-vision Innovators, but not yet ready for to be adopted by low-vision Early Adopters.

I've bought every single one of their apps on all platforms
I bought their app on iPad iPhone Mac Vision Pro. If they had one on watch, I'd buy that too. Whatever the price absolutely worth it and I've used tons of to do apps but this has been the only one that has stood the test of time I'd pay more if it had file up loads as well and more marked down Support please but at least it still has marked down Support

A good first effort, but needs a little polish
I really like this new first version however it reminds me more of the “apps compatible with Vision Pro” rather than an actual vision native app. The biggest issue I have is that the main window is bright white rather than the translucent windows normally associated with the native vision apps.
Consistently fabulous!
Have used this app for years. I just love how the developers maintain a consistently minimalist and effective app for productivity across the latest platforms. Thank you!
Not bad, but could be much better…
I use Things on my iPhone and iPad. Have for years; it’s just a fantastic way to organize a busy schedule. The Vision Pro version does a lot of things well. You get the Things cloud which is amazing and the powerful organizational interface that users have come to rely on.
HOWEVER, there’s definitely a missed opportunity with the spatial computing paradigm that will hopefully be addressed. Specifically, it is AWESOME that you can have multiple windows open to view different lists at the same time…BUT what we REALLY need is the ability to “pinch” a task in one window and drag it to another window. For example: I see that I can’t get to “wash the car” in my today list, so I pinch that task and drag it to my “upcoming” list. Imagine how amazing that would be!
The devs of this app are well known for adding features…hopefully we will see something like this in the future. I’ll update this review should that happen. That said, I don’t think you could do better that Things on the AVP.

Servisable
Updating my review since I did buy it, and I do find it useful. Could be better but it’s a new platform so updates will take a bit.
No dark mode or option to keep lists open with side bar hidden. Does the job but not worth the asking price yet.

dark mode please
Hi. This is an amazing app. However, it’s missing a dark mode. Please implement a dark mode. I’ve always used your products, but never with a white screen. Thank you so much for delivering apps that are so good.
Great app! Please add dark mode!
This app is fantastic. It is just missing one thing dark mode. Otherwise it has all the magic that you had in the previous apps.
Outstanding app
I have used most of the major competitors, and always come back to Things. Great UI, Cross - Device. And on Vision Pro - Day 1.
Thanks guys, keep at it ;)

Really nice port to the Apple Vision Pro
This early on in the Apple Vision Pro’s existence that hasn’t been that many apps that really show off the interface things three has the same fit and finish that we’ve come to expect from this company and it’s great to see that they’re taking advantage of all the new interface capabilities of visionOS

The familiar power of Things 3 in my new workspace
So far this version of things has been great, though I have two areas that could be improved for visionOS interactions. First is resizing the text seems huge by default. If I bring a window closer to me it’s too big to quickly skin. If I push it far away, the window itself is massive with massive texts. The next is selecting multiple things in visionOS. Currently it doesn’t feel very natural drag my hand up and down to select to-dos. Like I wish I could go into select mode, look at the first item I want to select, pinch, and then look down the list to select all the items and then stop that selection when I pinch my finger.
Lastly, there needs to be an easier way to select out of a to do item. It’s far too easy to market to do as complete when just trying to get out of a current expanded to do.

Minor niggles, but great to have the app at the Vision Pro launch!
I’ve been a Things user across platforms for years and it was one of the most important apps to me for the AVP.
Some minor issues - I have a lot of projects and I assign tasks to future dates a lot. That means I use the command+shift+m and command+s shortcuts a TON. Unlike other platforms, the AVP does not automatically select the text input for moving or snoozing, so you need to pinch to select it every time. Would be a huge step towards making the AVP feel like the Mac or iPad if that one small thing were fixed.
Likewise, escape doesn’t close a task. There are ways around that too but I find this to be another small difference between AVP and other platforms.
All together though, it’s great having my things list living out in space!

Font size adjustments, please
It’s amazing that I can stand next to a room size version of my lists! there’s too much room between project lists and task lists. Font size adjustment would be a super addition please.
Seems like a lazy port of the iPad app at this point…
I’d save your money on the “Vision Pro” version until there’s some better multi-window support and UI optimization for not having to make your eyes jump around (a toolbar on the bottom makes sense on the iPad but not for “gaze control”). They really should have dropped the initial price until this got significantly better. I trust it will get better, but maybe you shouldn’t.

Excellent app on every device device
I have this app for every other device that I own from Apple, so of course, I’m going to buy it for visionOS!! thank you for having a one time purchase instead of have a monthly subscription.
