About

You just deployed a gateway. Does it cover the warehouse? The far end of the field? The basement of the building? Stop guessing. Walk the site with LoRa Mapper running and find out. LoRa Mapper connects to your ChirpStack server (v3 or v4, self-hosted or cloud), subscribes to your device over MQTT, and plots every uplink on a live map as you walk — colored by RSSI. By the time you're back at the van you have a clear picture of where the signal holds, where it drops, and whether you need to reposition the antenna or add another gateway. Built for the people who actually do this work: LoRaWAN integrators, network engineers, smart city teams, utility rollouts, and self-hosters who want a proper field tool instead of staring at the ChirpStack live frames page on a laptop. Real-time RSSI map Every uplink appears as a dot the moment it arrives. Green for strong, yellow for fair, red for weak. Walk slower in the red zones. Gateway pins and coverage lines Gateways are plotted automatically from uplink metadata or the ChirpStack API. Tap one to draw lines to every point it received — shows the actual coverage shape, not a theoretical circle. ChirpStack v3 and v4 Paste in your server URL and API key. The app detects your ChirpStack version, finds the MQTT broker, and handles wss:// / ws:// fallback across ports 8883 and 8083 automatically. Multiple surveys, named and saved Save each site as a named map. Reload later, keep adding points, or export and share with the customer. Export to CSV Every point exports with coordinates, RSSI, SNR, timestamp, and gateway ID — ready for a spreadsheet or QGIS. Runs in the background The MQTT connection stays alive while your screen is off. Pocket your phone and keep walking. No account to create. No subscription. Works with any ChirpStack deployment.
