A Worthy Successor to Brain Age
A long time ago, I was an avid user of Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training (Brain Age) on Nintendo. I loved its structured cognitive exercises and the ability to estimate "brain age," unfortunately, it remained exclusive to Nintendo systems. I searched for something similar for years—something designed for adults rather than children. This tool would not only train cognitive abilities but also track progress, measure aging effects, and provide a meaningful estimate of brain performance.
I’ve been an active user of Elevate, Lumosity, and CogniFit, which are great platforms for brain training. However, they lack the specific approach of Brain Age, which focuses on a combination of speed, accuracy, and physiological responses.
Enter Thinkie System Brain Trainer—exactly what I had been looking for. What makes it stand out?
✔️ Created with Dr. Kawashima – the same neuroscientist behind Brain Age, ensuring the methodology aligns with his proven cognitive training principles and some other specialists in this area.
✔️ Simple yet effective games – no unnecessary distractions, just focused exercises to stimulate different areas of the brain.
✔️ Not just about right or wrong answers – Thinkie goes beyond traditional brain training by measuring how your brain performs, including blood flow and cognitive response times.
✔️ Tracks cognitive aging – providing insights into how your brain function changes over time, helping to understand and combat cognitive decline.
If you’re looking for a serious brain training tool for adults, not just gamified puzzles, Thinkie System Brain Trainer is an excellent choice. It offers real insights into your brain’s health and performance, making it a valuable addition to any cognitive training routine.
Final Verdict
If you were a fan of Brain Age but wished for a modern alternative with deeper insights into cognitive function, this is it. A must-try for those serious about brain health.

THINKIE for my brain
I use it 3+ times a week playing the games that come with that are challenging and also while I’m reading and reacting with email. Also preparing taxes and ancestry updating. Works well!
Great for menopausal brain
Genius! The app is paired through your cellphone via a stretchy headband. The material is lightweight and doesn’t squeeze your head at all. The app includes a lot of cognitive games such as puzzles, matching and concentration. It’s really fun. The best part is that it includes a progress tracker; if you’re concerned about your cognitive skills, you can share the results with your doctor to discuss if medical testing is needed. Definitely recommend for perimenopausal women who are concerned with “brain fog.”
