A pet shop, and a companion for every round. THE SHOP • Correct answers earn coins, and coins are spent in the barn on the meadow. • Eight animals to collect: cat, dog, fox, parrot, monkey, tiger, lion and elephant. • Each one unlocks at its own level, so there is always a next animal to work towards. YOUR PET PLAYS ALONG • The animal you choose sits beside the round and follows every answer. • The progress bar is now its favourite food: a correct answer earns a whole fish, berry or banana — a miss leaves only what remains of it. EASIER TO LEARN FROM • Multiplication and division now show a counting scene, as addition and subtraction already did. • A correct answer is proved by the scene itself, not by a button turning green. • Nothing turns red any more. After a second miss the game quietly shows how the answer is found. • On longer rounds a single slip no longer costs the reward. CALMER TO PLAY • A round now starts when your child presses Start, so there is time to look at the screen first. • A summary at the end shows what the round earned. • New sounds, chosen to be bearable on the hundredth time, and different vibration for right and wrong answers. Both can be switched off in settings. FITS YOUR SCREEN • The whole round fits on one screen — phones, small tablets and folding phones — with no scrolling. • Artwork grows with the screen on tablets instead of sitting small in the middle. Plus many smaller fixes, including rewards that were impossible to earn and a starting difficulty that was wrong for new players.
