Need to reconnect for every use

I find this app very useful however I only gave it three stars because you need to connect with the device you’re using it for every single time you wanna use the app. For example if I connect the app to my living room TV and put the volume up and then 2 minutes later I want to put the volume up again I need to reconnect the app to the TV to use it again.
