So Simple! Just What I Need!
This is the bare bones of an app without the all the eye candy and fluff. I mean that only in the best of ways. It may seem a tad strange but I'm not an autistic child but a teen who struggles in time management and who gets overwhelmed in the details of task work. All other productivity apps are stocked with so many useful features that it only further bogs me down. I still manage to get nothing done! But this app restricts such delicious design utility "frosting". You make a simple token store with some text and a photo for each item along with a price. You then do the same thing with reward activities to earn you such tokens. Complete an activity and earn tokens. Then you spend them. It's so simple and it's so straightforward. I would ask for more features but that would only decrease the usefulness of this app. It works with it's smooth running interface with no bugs or glitches so far as I've used it on my iPad Air 2 iOS 8.2. Now, I am fueled with a new motivation to do my work and forge healthier habits such as exercising in order to enjoy my time immersed in my most favorite of time losing hobbies such as downloading new apps, engaging with such apps, or listening to music! I'm running the show and I love it! I think this app fulfills it's purpose well and would be just as useful to a parent looking to help their kids work to earn! It is surprisingly fun! I think that this app works so well for me to manage my own time due to my own child like tendencies.😝 Hey! The responsibility that comes along with growing up is difficult and intimidating! But at least now I've given myself a simple means of balancing such responsibility with addictive downtime! Earning and saving tokens for larger rewards will also be great practice in teaching me more about money management and having the patience to save for large things. I can be very impulsive! Thank you developers! Please note that this app was not designed for the child itself! Only for the parent since it is easy to modify items, delete data at the tap of a button, and modify token amounts. There are no child locks! The only feature truly missing from this app is a means of backing up the data in case you decide to switch iDevices or your iPad crashes/is lost/needs to be reset to factory settings. Hopefully that will be included in an update! Enjoy!
