Great app but the update is buggy
Latest app update is crashing on my iPad
I love this app but the latest v1.2.16 is crashing on my iPad 5th version iPadOS 26. Please help!
Won’t load
The app quit working altogether. The last update killed it
Bug fixes now prevent app from working on my iPad
They have worked yesterday and then some “bug fix“ were applied, and now the app tries to open and just hangs or shuts right back down again. Hopefully they can fix this right away. I am paying for a subscription.
Playable adds
Playable adds get stuck on your phone they are too big and you can’t escape them this is inconvenient
Insufferable
Since the last several updates, the ads have gotten so big you can’t scroll past them, thereby forcing you to shut down and restart the app because the app is stuck on an ad. And the newest addition of video ads that pop up randomly is infuriating. I’m about two seconds away from deleting this app for good. I understand you need the ad revenue, but hijacking people’s phone with ads is NOT going to endear yourself to anybody. What a disappointment. You need to do better!

Terrible adds
Enough with the stupid ads that fill the whole screen so that you can’t help but click on them. Especially egregious is the shooting game at that instantly comes on at full volume when you’re accidentally click on it.
Enough with the Temu ads. They are annoying and would never make me want to go to their site. Impossible to not click on as they cover the whole screen. They are difficult to back out of and clicking on them never goes to the items that were around originally shown. Big turn off.
To be sure, the web content is great. But is it worth having a fight through add clicks that cannot be avoided?

THM News Site keeps freezing
Site keeps freezing- requires reader to frequently delete app and reinstall. Frequent ads are for obnoxious games and go on for extended time (preventing reader to bypass ad).
Sick of the game ads
I like this website but the game ads are way too intrusive and loud. You can’t skip them. Sorry, have to delete.
Imbedded app advertisements
I’m so sick of these imbedded adds for Angry Birds and other useless apps that pop up during articles. I got THM News so I could read news, not play games. Come on, I’m an adult and know how to find entertainment on my own.

Advertisements have gotten out of hand
I used to love this app. I still use it daily, but now have to cancel out of 70+ webpages a day because there’s so many ads that are very sensitive to touch. Hope they can find a way to make their advertising less irritating
Click Bait Nightmare
They took a bunch of good independent apps, combined it into one big mess, and now anywhere you touch the app, pops up unwanted spam bait. Be careful using this it work, due to all the ads that pop up just because you accidentally touched something. Deceptive marketing practices. Other apps have ads to pay for development, but this takes it way too far.

How do you disable images?
The images a re a complete waste of screen space, how can I disable? App is rather unusable for news with them

The app acts completely wonky with keyboard delays and moronic pop ups. I considered subscribing but very leery now.
Love the content
Just what I was looking for in content, but the ads are becoming too much. I understand the business aspect of the necessity of them, however, multiple scrolling ads for one article is becoming a bit too much.

Content amazing, App not so much
First major problem with this app is that it keeps crashing on my iPad, starting yesterday, even after the update. Additional issues have to do with the media portion, specifically the podcasts. As a paying customer, I am supposed to get the uncensored version of the Triggered podcast, not possible. Also, there is no way to speed up the podcast, I typically listen to everything on 1.75x speed, this should be a no-brainer. Additionally, then my phone times out & goes dark, you have to open the phone back up in order to control any pausing or skipping. There are also issues with the comments section of the articles, but those are less annoying. Please fix this, I have subscribed to you guys, because I love your work & want to support you.

Please fix your app! I love your content, but the app blows. On top of the fact that you still cannot get podcasts to increase speed, after years of asking for this. Now, every story doesn’t load properly unless you load it a second time. Whenever there are tweets (Twitchy) they load on top of each other. Or there are massive space gaps within the story. I try to be patient with you guys & have had the VIP going since you started it because I believe in what you do. You need to fire your app developer though.

Fix it please
The app sticks on the first opening ad and I have deleted it and reloaded it and turned off my phone and restarted but it only worked correctly one time then hung on the first ad again.
Love this APP! (Please add a “Home” button.)
I love the APP and how it aggregates all of the best news sites and information. The only shortcoming I can find is there’s no “Home” button/feature so you can quickly go back to the beginning after you’ve gone down a rabbit hole following link after link. For now, I just close the APP and reopen it to “reset” it to the home page, but I would think something could be done to make it more efficient. Thanks!
