I really want to change this rating, please update!
This app idea is great. It has infinite zoom, a simplistic UI, and is great for note taking in a brand new “layering” fashion. You probably already know these things.
The sad part is it does not have an infinite zoom. I repeatedly hit bottom and I never know when it’s going to come. Maybe I’m “using the app wrong” but if it is advertised as having infinite zoom, it should be infinite no matter what I do.
I’ve also already experienced losing work, not just from pinching out too far which is my fault (but it would be great to have a “quick view” that, no matter where you are, brings you to full screen view of the whole drawing/notes etc so you can zoom from there), but also from simply … losing work. It’s just gone. And I don’t know where it would go.
Please update this app so I can update my review and give the 5 stars this idea deserves!

This app is great - real infinite zoom, simple tools, fantastic.
It’s just that it consistently loses entire workspaces. Hours of work - gone. Kind of defeats the purposes for anything but scratch paper.

Data Loss
This app is a great idea, but has lost data on multiple occasions. Entire projects will disappear with no way to recover them. That is completely inexcusable.
I couldn’t find my drawing OMG
I accidentally zoomed out and my drawing is no where to be found (crying a river rn)
Quality has been going down
The last update is not responsive at all with the zoom.
Should be possible to share with other Thougths users to keep working the same sheet.

Finally a better pencil infinite canvas!
I wanted to say that I have been searching for a long time to find an an app that doesn’t rely on palm rejection to determine when to use a finger to draw or the pencil. Palm rejection just doesn’t work comfortably. They seem to always mess up and once in awhile you get these random dots or lines where the palm rejection tried to get it right but failed. Other apps are now disabling finger painting when the pencil is in use. This app works great because it disables finger drawing too! Thank you! Also I love the fact that it is a simple app. It has an infinite canvas so I no longer run out of room doing large drawings. These few features are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an app that I could write out interface ideas, thoughts, or math equations using the pencil without worrying about my finger messing things up or running out of room. Fingers are reserved for gestures (as they should be).

Great concept but quite buggy
Conceptually this is a great app, or eventually should be a great app. Some of the more potentially "game-changing" features either do not work yet altogether and/or are buggy and need the developers to do some more work/testing before the release. I kind of think that is the whole issue; this app was released before it was actually ready for primetime. Maybe in the future this app will be sitting in my iPad dock, but for the moment it is not worth the space on my dock.
