Threadmap 1.2 is our biggest update yet — a faster canvas, keyboard-speed capture, and two beautiful new ways to see your maps. BUILD AT THE SPEED OF TYPING (Mac) • Press Return to add a sibling idea, Tab to add a child — capture a whole train of thought without touching the mouse • Arrow keys jump between connected ideas; hold Option to nudge cards precisely • Every menu bar command now works, including Print A CANVAS THAT FEELS RIGHT • Two-finger scroll pans the canvas, ⌘-scroll zooms toward your cursor (Mac) • Drag a parent card and its whole branch comes along — hold Option to move just one card • Cards snap to alignment guides as you drag, so tidy maps stay tidy • Drop a card onto another card to reattach it to a new branch • Zoom to Fit now glides smoothly instead of jumping NEW WAYS TO SEE YOUR MAP • Depth view: your map separates into floating layers with real parallax — drag to tilt on Mac, pan and pinch on iPhone and iPad • Redesigned 3D scene: a steady camera that never tilts sideways, crisp cards that always face you, subtle depth fog, and cleaner connection lines ON IPHONE & IPAD • Multi-select is here — tap Select, lasso a group of ideas, then move or delete them together AND MORE • Large maps are dramatically faster • Your preferred view mode is remembered between launches • Lots of small fixes and polish throughout
