About
Imagined as an educational game for TV lighting design, cinematography, and photography, this app lets the user experiment with the direction, intensity, and color of the three light sources: red (keylight), green (filllight), and blue (backlight). The camera and the model can be rotated independently. F-stop and background brightness can be adjusted to create various lighting moods. Four human models are available: two female and two male. The models can be animated to explore the lighting on a moving face. The default background is neutral (dark gray), but it can be changed to one of the seven photo backgrounds to simulate more real-life situations. Created scenes can be recorded to one of nine presets and recalled later.
