I was excited to use but just to find out it requires a subscription. I’m trying to save money not give money to you.

Very general
The app does work fast but the feature to add more details to the item description doesn’t seem to work so it gives you a general list of comps based on look but you can’t add brands or material. When I search I want to be able to narrow comps more I’m stuck in a 1 year plan now. But not as helpful as I’d hoped

Can’t cancel and it’s a scam!!!
Beware this app does not let you cancel. There is no customer service. It charges you more than once. In the same month. I’m getting charged three times.

Does not send a renewal notice and cannot cancel does not show up as a subscription
This app makes it impossible to cancel through the app, and it does not show up under subscriptions in your Apple account. I’ve reached out to support, but sending a warning to other users who might be surprised at the fee. They did not send a renewal notice to my email. I distrust this poorly built and poorly thought out app. It’s probably a rip off of other ones, because there are better out there.

Scam
In description it says make sure you read terms of use with link provided, the link doesn’t even work. I tried the free trial and then deleted my account multiple times but I keep getting charged regardless there’s no way of getting help immediately absolutely frustrating don’t offer a free trial then trap someone. I do not feel comfortable with this app having my personal information and card info.

Takes Your Money
This app charges me $4.99 a week without being able to cancel or contact anyone! I have even “deleted” my account multiple times but it’s still charging my account. I didn’t sign up for any subscriptions, just simply put in my information when first downloaded. Downloaders please be aware of this prior to downloading. I don’t want to be harsh because it could be a mistake but it does need to be fixed and addressed (the only reason I am writing this review).

I never need the app permission to get any money out of my account and try to hit my credit card on my Apple Pay and you’re supposed to give me a free 3 days. What happened to that? As of right now all they keep on doing is charge my capital one this is why I keep my card locked at all times because apps like y’all. I never gave the app permission to charge my card. I exited out before it could charge me. I never hit the side button for it to do Apple Pay so go figure that out.

DON’T USE
This app kept charging me even after I deleted the app and deleted my account. There was no clear way to unsubscribe, and I only noticed the charges later. Very misleading and not user-friendly. Be careful before downloading.
Scammers
There is no way to cancel subscription in the app, I’ve tried to reach out through email — they didn’t reply. I’ve tried calling -- no answers. Please cancel my subscription!!!!

Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the hiccup Leyla! 😊 Thrifty currently uses Apple’s subscription system, so you can view or cancel anytime in your iPhone settings: (Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Thrifty) If you don’t see Thrifty listed there, you may have paid using an external payment option. We briefly allowed external payments when Apple released an update allowing apps in the USA to try it out, but we’ve since switched fully back to Apple’s in-app subscriptions for simplicity. First time hearing about Thrifty. I use Google lens but hoping this is faster and easier
Not As Expected
First of all, when I opened the app I was advertised getting a 3-day free trial, then charged a yearly subscription, I accidentally hit the subscribe button unknowingly, and it charged me $39.99 plus tax right away. So much for the 3-day free trial. I submitted a refund request through Apple. Also, I don’t think the data is accurate as it pulled one of my listing in the for sale category and it had it listed as a size large and $10 more as advertised, my shirt is a size small. I think if this pulls inaccurate data you should be able to adjust the info and do a re-search. I also think a sell rate would be helpful. Please do some more research and updating on this app. Charging that amount for a subscription is outrageous.

They make you go through a whole thing just to show you that you have to pay. Don’t recommend seems pointless to download and pay if you could just use google lens

They make you go through a whole introduction process that take a while just to make you pay for the app after. Please make it clearer from the start that it is not a free app or at least make a free version with less features or something. I gave 3 stars only because I there aren’t many reviews already and didn’t want to tank their score completely.
