About

Through is a focus app built on one honest idea: say what you'll do, do it, then tell the truth about whether you did. No streaks to break. No guilt. No subscription. THE LOOP • Name one specific intent: "draft the report intro," not "work." • Focus. The world goes quiet; your sentence stays in front of you, the timer steps back. • At the end, answer one question: did you do it? Yes or no. Honestly. • Watch your intent-completion grow. Effort counts, not perfection. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most focus apps push you with guilt, streaks, or numbers in your face. Through never punishes. "No" is never red. There's no series to protect, so the yes/no stays honest. The only thing it sells you is your own word. FREE, FOREVER • The whole honest loop: intent, timer, yes/no, and your week at a glance • Continuity: pick up the same effort where you left off, with its honest history • No limit: when you can't honestly guess how long it needs, the clock counts up instead • Your intent on your Lock Screen widget • Start hands-free with Siri, or auto-start from an iOS Focus THROUGH PRO (one-time purchase, no subscription ever) • Block distracting apps during a block. Really mute them, not just a nudge. • Your intent on Apple Watch, right on your wrist. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. Your data stays on your device. Nothing is collected.

What's New in Through

1.2.0

August 28, 2026

NEW: NO LIMIT Some work can't be honestly priced up front. You know you need to sit with it, you just don't know for how long. Pick "no limit" and the clock counts up. There's no bar filling toward a goal, because a bar filling toward a goal turns the thing into a race you invented five seconds ago. It runs until you say it's done. Then one question. How did it go? I finished it. I gave it what I had. My head wasn't in it. None of the three touch your completion rate. Something you couldn't measure shouldn't get a grade, so Through files it as practice instead, in its own quiet row under the others. Free. As always: no account, nothing collected, and Pro stays a one-time purchase.
