A group of four ladies from church had planned to go on vacation together… so we decided to start TTW in hopes we’d get to know each other a little better. Twenty months later. Vacation has come and gone. And we’re still meeting in this app every day. We no longer meet to know each other better. We meet to know Jesus better. And that has changed our lives. Faith Teachers
I have been using TTW for years now, and I consider Kris and Peyton to be my humble teachers of faith. As I endeavor to learn more about my Savior, TTW has become the backbone for my study of God’s Word. Without it, I would be completely lost in the semantics. The TTW commentary for each chapter of the Bible gives me a wonderful starting place for deeper understanding and meaning of God’s Love Letter to me (and to all of us). Thank you, Kris and Peyton, for helping me on my journey through the Word (pun intended)!

A blessing to my family
I was introduced to TTW after selecting the plan on Anxiety, from the bible app. And it’s been a blessing ever since. I went on with eagerness to dig deeper into books of the bible. I was hungry for more of the Word. And I’ve come to enjoy the way Kris, Peyton, and the other teachers make reading the word so enjoyable and enlightening. From there I invited my oldest son, who was having trouble with addiction to join me in reading several of the New Testament books. Since we have done many books and he has now taken to lead as we journey together. After giving his life to Christ, TTW has become his daily companion and guide. My oldest son, has introduced my youngest son, and many of his new found Christian friends to it. It has changed and impacted the life of my youngest son, who is a scientist! My youngest son, now sees that Faith and science are not mutually exclusive. Now we’re praying that my daughter would eventually join us on our journey TTW. Having been brought up in a Christian home, I see her struggle with her Faith and worldly beliefs. I am 🙏🏽 that she will eventually give her life completely to Christ and join us TTW.

Best bible app out there!!
TTW has been a game changer for me… I still love the Bible app, But through the word Is really special. Kris and Peyton do an amazing job of giving you an overview of what you’re about to read. They are warm, funny and smart. They connect the dots, explain concepts and themes that you may otherwise miss. My Bible Reading/listening has improved greatly. Love it!

What a fantastic app! I cannot wait to learn every single chapter of the Bible.

Through the Word has made such a difference in my Bible reading. I no longer feel like I’m simply reading the words and trying to understand them on my own. The short teachings help me understand the context, meaning, and message of each chapter while still keeping the focus on Scripture itself.
For the first time, I feel like I have someone walking alongside me as I read the Bible—helping me notice things I might have missed and understand passages that once felt difficult. It has helped me become more consistent in my Bible reading, but even more importantly, it has helped me grow in my understanding of God’s Word.
If you want to read the Bible but sometimes feel overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, or like you’re doing it alone, I highly recommend Through the Word. It has become a meaningful part of my time with God.

Amazing and inspiring
As a believer, I am always looking for resources that will inspire my walk with God and help me be a blessing to others. Much work has gone into developing this app and the team of speakers are inspiring. For those with a busy life, you listen or read a chapter per day and listen to a short commentary from knowledgeable teachers. They don’t preach, they teach. They like to have fun too. I am on my second time through the Bible with them and TTW is an important part of my morning devotions.

I am thoroughly enjoying my walk through the book of Acts. I really like that he is reading every verse as he teaches. Excellent!

Enrichment & Depth
TTW has helped me experience greater depth of scripture via their knowledge regarding the author of the particular book (The Bible is 66 books.), and the context surrounding the verses. I appreciate the ease, accessibility, and personal touch Kris and friends have that bring the words alive and make them easier to apply to my life. TTW is something I look forward to every day regardless of my schedule.

Game Changer
I was never able to understand certain things in the Bible, especially the New Testament. This app is amazing at tying things together and making connections that I never would have made. My faith is so much stronger because of this app and it’s free 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I highly recommend and have shared this app with several friends. Currently my mom and sisters are making our way “Through the Word” together, without the timing and travel restrictions of most traditional Bible studies.
The recording feature allows us to share right on the app what spoke to our hearts from the text and teaching that day. We often share our prayer requests here too.

I love this app! They research the Bible and share in-depth information. Through the Word has been a blessing to my Bible study. When I teach Sunday school or Women’s Bible study I always listen to TTW to gain more insight! So thankful for Through the Word!
