I have been using this app for about 8 years. I wish I had this app since becoming a Christian, since it was March 20, 1976 it was not possible. I have learned so much it is embarrassing when I look back on my first few decades as a Christian.

TTW has given me the ability to read God‘s word and have someone explain in way that I can understand what I am reading.

This app is incredible!! It truly helps you breakdown and understand the Bible. I LOVE the stories they share to connect you with the Bible.
Easy to understand!
I don’t remember how I found Through the Word but I’m glad I did. I have used this app to go through books of the Bible. The commentators do such a great job explaining it so I can understand. They take chapter by chapter of the books and break it down into a less than 10 minute summary. This works perfectly to do before work. It’s a great way to start my day!

TTW…epic journeys plan
Unfortunately, for last 4 years I have had to miss attending my church and my Sunday School.. ( you call it Life Group today)
I really enjoyed and needed to hear the SS lessons I was missing.. I found this through You Version Bible App with Kris leading the devotional.. I so appreciated and loved how he relayed God’s Word just like my SS teacher does… I immediately signed up in 2024 March and have received such amazing, authentic sound doctrine teaching from this plan I am following… I am driving so much these past 4 years that in my long commute to help with my Gkids… I can cover and listen to 5 chapters one way. I have shared this App with my class, friends, family. You need to get this App to help you in your study of God’s Word… so easy to understand and relate to so you know how to apply it to your daily walk in Christ!!!!! Also, TTW offers numerous other ways to help you learn God’s Word.. Kris and all his staff do a great job of inserting and adding seasonal and high interest studies; topics; there is way so much here that I cannot express the importance of this App and all they continue to do to refine, improve, and add to every facet of this to teach and reach everyone in this vital ministry to further God’s Kingdom!! I love, love, love this App and it has and continually does bless my life and help me understand God’s Word..

AMAZING!!!!
I Love through the word. It is helping me to dive deep into individual chapters of the bible, one at a time. Pastors Kris, Peyton, Melanie, TeDese, Chase, Skip, and the team are amazing. They are funny, and so good at teaching the Word. I cant imagine how many countless hours goes into preparing and producing each episode. I have used this in small groups and have grown my relationship with Jesus via the studies. Can’t wait to meet you all in heaven someday, thanks for all you do!!!

Priceless!
I discovered this app through the Ypuversion Bible app.doing the New Testament in a year. What a priceless blessing to my life! I prefer listening to the Bible when I walk and this app makes that possible along with a phenomenal explanation of every chapter in the Bible. I have loved it so much and tell everyone about it. I would highly recommend this genius, Holy Spirit, inspired, labor of love. After doing the New Testament in the year, I have done the first three journeys. Every one of them excellent great job Pastor Chris, and the entire through the word team🧡

Such an amazing app. Really breaks down the Word and helps you understand what you are reading.
TTW is a Blessing!
The Through the Word app has been such an incredible blessing in my walk with God. It takes you through the Bible chapter by chapter with clear, engaging, and biblically sound teaching that makes God’s Word easy to understand without losing its depth. I love how each lesson helps connect Scripture, provides historical and practical context, and encourages me to apply what I’ve learned to my daily life. Easy Bible Study program
Through the Word is easy to listen to and communicates a lot of information in a conversational style. The commentary is significant and captures different angles like culture, age, prior knowledge of the listener. I would call it a bible learning program rather than bible study although it certainly does study the bible; in a regimented style because it is all pre-recorded.

Content is great but that guitar!
You content is amazing and the way it is explained is fantastic.
However the guitar is extremely distracting and too loud and sometimes stops me starting a plan knowing it’s going to blast in my ear and I need to try and pick out your voice through it.

In Memory
It was about 4 months ago that my brother-in-law, Andy, turned me on to the Foundation series in TTW. He went home to be with the Lord this morning (7/7/26) at about 9:30 AM Pacific time. He was perfectly healthy when he shared the app with me. It just goes to show that we can’t take our time on this earth for granted. Enjoy, Andy! See you soon! ❤️

My husband and I have been using TTW for more than a year now! We are studying a chapter a day , completing a book, we move from The Old Testament to the New Testament. we have done 13 books so far! Looking forward to completing the whole Bible just to start again ! It has become our time together! We enjoy this app so much !
